you know nothin' bout french rap music? this album is the best ever. loud deep funky, dope beats'n flow. you got everything in here.

Global Appeal.......2001-10-01

I Live in the States and English is my first language but it is clear by listening to Supreme NTM that hip-hop is going global and the hip-hop lyrically matches that of hip-hop in the states. this group is considered the bad boys of the French hip-hop scene and their lyrics are attacked as being too violent however in actuality a lot of their lyrics speak of the ills of street life and are deeper than a lot of the gangser rappers of the states.I would also like to tell english speakers who can't understand one word of French to check this cd out the beats and flow of the lyrics are appealing even if you can not understand one word of what is being said a must have for those breaking into the French hip hop scene or for those hip-hop heads who are looking to expand their collection with some great international flows. check it out!

I originaly purchased this album in 96 I think and shortlyburned it in my stereo only caught back with it 6 months ago. theprice could have been $60 or 80$ it still wouldn't have made a difference I could just listen to every single song, this is true hardcore hip hop that would even make non-french speaking hip hop fan jump from their seat believe me on that this is dope.

NTM is a highly controversial French rap group. Although I cannot understand all that they say it is a verycool cd and a good way to see that not all french music is soothingand happy. They're just as edgy as in the US.

I own a lot of French CDs, but this is one of the ones that I play the most. All of the titles are hardcore. The big hit off the album is La Fievre, a powerful story about police racism in France and brutality, and Joey Starr's revenge against the system. Paris Sous les Bombes is a rough and tough hit as well. The bonus track with NTM and NAS is well worth listening too. NAS smoother voice works well with the rougher sound of Joey Starr and NTM.

I am a big NTM fan. However, this is the album I like the least because it's not as "hardcore" and fast as the other ones. Nevertheless, it's my girlfriend's favorite NTM album! she loves it because it's got funky beats.
