About the Artist
Master Sat Hon is a native of Guanzhou, China. He received his BA from Princeton University and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from Connecticut College.

Master Hon has studied various Taoist healing arts since childhood with numerous Qigong and Taiji Masters. He founded the Dan Tao School in 1980. Master Hon completed a special residency in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Guanzhou First Chinese Medical Hospital in China. He currently teaches in New York where he lives with his wife and three daughters.

This is a very nice meditation CD. Every part of it is professional quality: the music, the instructions themselves and the rest. I really like Sat Hon's voice, it's so soothing - I'd like to have mine similar. The dialogue between master and students provides unexpected insights of the practice. Sat Hon can be very funny at times - and yet you get a lot from him.
I would recommend this CD highly. Sat Hon created a meditation from his study of Chinese Mahayana Buddhism and Qigong energy practices, yet there is nothing religious in the meditation, everything is spiritual, so regardless of your religion - if any - you will like this!

This simple to learn yet profound meditation practice is brilliantly presented in Peace Practice CD. Sat Hon explains its roots in a profound introduction. He then gives poetic and lucid instruction on the techniques of the practice. I got a good insight into the vastness of the meditation listening to the group discussion of both newcomers and practioners sharing the expanse of their experiences. The dialog with Master Hon on suggestions for beginners was very helpful being new to this type of meditation. I loved the evocative music woven throughout the CD which helped me feel and understand the practice as much as the technical instruction.

Thank you Master Hon for sharing this ray of light, a life line to hold onto during these very dark times.
