MUST HAVE!!.......2005-11-08

Simply the BEST album of the year 2005 if you are buying Hawaiian...the REAL thing. Kanaka'Ole ROCKS! My very favorite. Spiritual, haunting, rollicking, sad (in that it can literally bring a tear to your eye...even if you don't understand native Hawaiian, the vocals are so beautiful that it almost makes you cry!) the vocal translation itself will move you and the quality of the recording is outstanding. I can't recommend this CD highly enough. Like I said, if you are a fan of Hawaiian sounds, this is a must have!

A voice that proudly boasts the Hawaiian language. Just like his mother, Kekuhi Kanahele, Kaumakaiwa Kanaka'ole, made me feel I was in paradise again.
