About the Artist
Francis Dunnery was born in the north of England and first came to prominence in the mid eighties as the vocalist and guitarist with the rock band It Bites. Francis recorded three successful albums with It Bites and also scored a major hit single with Calling All The Heroes. Following the split from It Bites Francis moved to Los Angeles recorded his first solo album entitled Welcome To The Wild Country, which was critically well received and also spawned an American hit single. Following this album Francis left Virgin records and signed to Atlantic Records and recorded his second solo album Fearless. At this point in his life (1995) Francis was performing what was termed controversial acoustic shows the length and breadth of the UK and various points across the world including Australia alongside his friend Ashley Reakes.
