Un petit bijou!.......2005-11-13

I give this four stars because at less than three quarters of an hour it is short measure for a CD; the singing is exquisite and the first and last songs on the disk make it worth having: the sweet Martini (sorry!) "Plaisir d'Amour" and "Le Temps des Cerises" which I first heard forty years ago on the Yves Montand LP "Chansons Populaires de France" (now available on CD) which was given to me by a French girl friend.

I always loved Marie-Denise since her start. This album shows how different she is from all the other Quebec artists. She has a pure voice and a sense of doing things differently... Doing what she wants to do. If you like classical music and want to really hear someone sing like an angel... This is the album for you.
