I just have to say...Antonello Venditti's song "Che fantastica storia é la vita" has for me become the BEST italian song ever -it's amazing.

So u think...why does this guy then only give the album 4 stars?
Well the album "only" contains 9 songs...(incl.2 versions of Che fantastica...) but Im still only have listened to the first one..got it on repeat...

Well buy it, and enjoy it: put the last song on repeat (long version)!!

Romantic modern Italian music with great horns.......2007-02-26

Heard the title song in a cab in Florence in 2003, and I was able to identify the CD in a listening section of a music store. The music has a very beatiful, full, rich sound. Very romantic and evocative. Highly recommended.

Fantastica!!!.......2005-04-23

You wonder how he does it after decades of putting out great music this one is just as great as ever. Its a must have collection for the Venditti fan, and if you are not one already you will become one quickly. "Che Fanstasica Storia E'La Vita" is awesome, and if you want to really treat yourself get "Campus Live 2004" where he recorded this song live. If only I could have made time to see his recent tour in Italy.
Enjoy- no doubt a 5-star CD.
