Buy this CD.......2003-02-18

Buy this CD and while you're at it, buy their first CD which is even better. Intik is one of the very best of the best -- Algerian hip hop that rocks. I especially like Generation P.A. and Shkoun which take on the violence in Algeria and expose its real causes in lyrically and musically devastating ways. Buy both CD's!

Intik is one of the best arab gruops I have ever heard. They mix their lyrics in french and arabic. You must get this CD if you like french hip hop or rap.

This album will blow your ear drums back to da middle-east and north africa. If you love rap or ragga den dis album is for you the mix in between french and arabic is superb. Intik are da number 1 arabic rap clan alive today. The lyrics are superior to any other rappers and the beats and melodies are exquiste in my eyes.

Along with MBC and Hamma Boys, Intik is one of the very best Algeria rap groups and this is the better of their two CD's available. Too many people have rejected Algerian rap as being either a sell-out to a Western cultural form or too Algerian--not real (American) rap. Anyone who actually listens to the lyrics (and is able to understand either the French or the Arabic (one language is enought to get enough of it to enjoy) and understands what's been going on in Algeria for the last 10 years while the world stood by in silence, and you quickly understand that these guys have a helluva lot to say and they do it with a lot of intensity and musical ability. Intik traces their roots to the 1988 youth rebellion that rocked Algeria and still hasn't succeeded in bringing down the regime, but you know listening to these lyraics that this regime and the muderous reality they created and preside over shall one day pass. I hope these guys keep it real because there is a lot of potential here.
