My french is bad enough i can't even translate it all when i see it written out. But the songs and the music are still incredible! very eclectic and original.

Outstanding music and beautiful lyrics comprising thirteen divine songs - that's "L'Amour Parfait" by Cali. This CD is so good that once you hear it, it will become your iPod favorite.

I decided to broaden my French musical horizons beyond Joe Dassin and asked my francophone husband for a recommendation - he suggested Cali. Based on the reviews here and his advice, I took a chance on this album and do not regret it. All of the songs are passionate, sensual, and simply wonderful...

Don't be afraid if you don't speak French fluently - the lyrics are relatively easy to understand.

I didn't know there was life before Cali! I discovered this album in 2003 and have listened to it at least 100 times since then. This is one of those CDs where you know exactly how the artist felt when they wrote and recorded the track. You feel like you know Cali after you listen to this CD. In the grand tradition of Morrissey and Robert Smith, Cali sings what it's like to be hurt, abused, and unappreciated by the ones you love. If I had to be stuck on a desert island with just one CD this would be the one. I wouldn't be alone. I would have Cali with me! Take a chance on this CD! You'll be so glad you did!
