Stylized - but nice.......2006-06-19

I learned of this CD and artist when looking for various versions of the song "I'll Never Love This Way Again." I was certain that the song had been recorded better than Whitney Houston's version. Man, was I right! Rather than Whitney's over-sung style, Sean respects the music with a relaxed arrangement. The harmonies all use the same vibrato, imparting a semi-boy-band sound. INLTWA is the only song in English. The other songs are all in Hawaiian so be prepared. Nothing wrong with it, just know in advance that this CD is primarily traditional Hawaiian music with a pop inflection.
Its all pretty. I'd call it classy ethnic pop.
