The Best Current Classical Music.......2003-03-13

Forget New Age, forget Apocalyptica, forget reproductive boredom. This is the best you can find today, it is a rhytmic classical music, very simple idea indeed but not heard very often. All pieces are melodic, rhytmic and as long as appropriate for a modern listener. These are beautiful classical melodies with full richness of orchestral music, very easy and pleasurable listening. If you want serious classical music this is not the one but it is nevertheless astonishingly fresh and attractive.

We heard Rondo at Epcot Center in DisneyWorld and were immediately captivated. Classical music with a beat. Every song on this CD is great. Every time we go back to Epcot, we used get another Rondo CD, but now that Amazon carries them, it's cheaper. Rondo's CD's are great, and this one is the best. If anyone out there knows of a better one, let me know!

stunningly spellbinding.......1998-09-30

I first heard Rondo Veneziano on a sports program way back in the 80's. They were playing the cut "SINFONIA PER UN ADDIO" . Hearing this one song, I knew I had to have this album. To my surprise, all the songs on the album are great. I would really recommend this album to anyone who loves Baroque mixed with a good old fashioned beat. A truly stirring piece of work.
