Customer Reviews:
Only 2 songs and 2 melodies.......2006-11-12
Excellent Vocals and Instrumentals from Kill Bill.......2004-05-01
1. The Flower of Carnage
2. Urami Bushi
3. The Flower of Carnage (Instrumental)
4. Urami Bushi (Instrumental)
1 and 2 are in the Kill Bill soundtracks. 3 and 4 are very good renditions that qualify as soothing "background" music. An advantage of buying this CD is that Urami Bushi isn't ruined by The RZA's idea of rap (as it is in Kill Bill Volume 2 CD).
Meiko Kaji is an actress and a singer, and originally sung these songs for movies she was in. The sound quality on these tracks is professional, and much better than in the Japanese movies these songs originally appeared in.
If you do not have the Kill Bill albums, buy this CD, because the singing is excellent. If you already have bought the albums, buy this CD, because it's pure Japanese singing with two great instrumentals.
The album rocks. Buy this CD.
