This album is really outstanding. I like most of the songs on the CD, especially "Tant que c'est toi", "J'avais quelqu'un", "Croire" and "Qu'y a-t-il entre nous?"
Natasha has indeed a wonderful voice. I really recommend it.

Natasha is an amazing singer. She has a powerful and sexy voice. Every song in this disc has a special and distinctive feeling that shows how Natasha's talents have been grown and developed to maturity. Buy this CD, listen and feel it. You won't regret it.

C'est beau!.......2005-05-14

This is at least Natasha St-Pier's third album, and definitely her best effort to date. This album has a more varied style that shows off Natasha's fresh and beautiful voice in catchy arrangements. The influence of Pascal Obispo comes through, especially on guitar. My favorite tracks are Tant Que C'est Toi and Chacun Pour Soi, although they are really all pretty good and grow on you with repeating listening. Now one of Quebec's very best female singers, Natasha St-Pier and Isabelle Boulay are both in a better place than Celine Dion.

Every title on the CD is great.......2005-03-29

This CD has good sound and is well orchestrated. In the past several years, I have found that
there are many CD's that had only two or three tracks that I like. That seems to be a complaint
by many people, and it is a reason why the music download services are so popular among
consumers. I like CD's where the whole CD is music I like. That being said, I was extremely
pleased with "L'instant d'après." Francophone music is expensive in the United States, and I felt
that my money was well spent with this CD.

I was pleased with the technical qualities of Natasha St-Pier's voice, as well as all the
arrangements and instrumentation on the whole album. "L'instant d'après" was a welcome
addition to my Francophone rock collection. I look toward adding additional titles from Natasha
St-Pier.

A wonderful album from an artist who was new to me!.......2004-11-13

These are beautiful songs with powerful lyrics, a compelling voice and very creative musical arrangements. Natasha really offers something enduring and special. I get the feeling that people will be enjoying her recordings years and decades from now!

Savall family extravaganza.......2006-01-27

Jordi Savall and Montserrat Figueras are the two giants in the Catalan early music scene. On this album they enlist the help of percussionist Pedro Estevan and their two children to produce some truly exceptional music. Jordi Savall, the most famous family member, almost fades into the background, although he is obviously the rock that anchors the album. His playing is superb, and it seems as though it was most likely him who chose the excellent repertoire. Figueras, like wine, is only improving with age. Also like wine, however, she's a bit of an acquired taste; I am a huge fan of straight tone singing and even I took a while to get used to her bizarre, raw sound. It's worth it, however, as she is one of the most intriguing singers of this era.

Daughter Arianna is a world-class artist in her own right. Like her father, she is multi-talented; she sings, plays the harp, and composes (her contribution to this album, "La Salve," is beautiful and affecting, but some of the selections on her own solo album "Bella Terra" are far superior). Like her mother, her voice is haunting and beautiful, more polished than the elder woman but slightly less interesting. She sounds particularly lovely in the background of the first track. Ferran Savall also lends his voice to the album, although his singing is far less classical sounding, which may be a plus to some listeners. "Noumi, Noumi, Yaladatii," which Figueras has previously recorded as a solo, includes a vocalise from Ferran astonishing in its power, although his one solo on this album, "La Canco Del Lladre," is the least impressive track, as his voice can be irritating after a while and the song itself is repetitive and overlong.

The instrumental tracks are universally excellent. Jordi Savall is one of the world's best viola da gamba players and this album proves that he is still at the top of his game. Arianna's virtuosic harp solo is one of the album's highlights; her playing is less restrained and more visceral than most harpists. Pedro Estevan seems to have very little to do, but a little goes a long way with this music.

I sincerely hope that this will not be the last album to feature the Savall-Figueras family together. These five musicians have produced an album of surreal beauty, not to be missed.

He Has Previously Worked with Roy Ayers, James Baldwin, Steve Coleman and Other French Artists. This Album Will Carry You Away with Strong Melodies and Arrangements. Good Pop Music.......2004-01-06

There are enough outstanding songs on this CD to more than make up for a few weak moments. Natasha St. Pier has a voice that serves the material very well. Strong and clear, she delivers great pop music. I got this CD on the same day that i got Celine Dion's "1 fille & 4 types". So a comparison is inevitible. Natasha does not muster up near the emotion that Celine does. But if Pop is your thing, you'll like this. If Natasha is your thing, you must have this CD.

Lower energy level than De l'amour le mieux.......2003-11-21

This CD lacks the excitement, tension, and raw energy of De l'amour le mieux. Overproduction obscures this artist's great voice. I would wait for the next album.
