Alizee is currently very popular in Europe. She was discovered by Mylene Farmer and her producer Laurent Boutonnat who collaborated on this album. Alizee has just finished touring France and Europe as the opening act for Mylene Farmers' highly succesfull 'Mylenium Tour'. This album will most certainly prove that she is more than a one hit wonder.

Generally I think the start of Alizee's songs are kind of strange, but she really comes through. She is an amazing singer.

If you love this you should also buy the DVD "En Concert." I have it and am absolutely delighted with it and its companion CD of the same name.

about 2 weeks ago I accidently stumbled across a link called France 's "britney Spears so being curious I clicked it and Alizee came up .......I havent been the same since After watching her videos Ive been totally mesmerized by her entire package...The unbelievable voice ...singing styles ...music...extremely graceful movements dancing....personality...persona... incredible stage presence ..warmth... spirit .. that she was unknown to me and still most americans all I could say it is our loss...also another thing shes is extremely beautiful...get the cd you wont regret it also when you done with this cd get all her other cd and dvd there just as great oh by the way I dont speak a word of french but it hardly matters the spirit that comes thru her works transends language ....age ...sex...religion...nationality...

...somewhat in my eyes. After years of loathing French manners and nutty political maneuvering, I have finally found something about them I like. Alizee!

I originally Alizee's video for J'En Ai Marre! on YouTube. It's a very catchy tune and her good looks don't hurt matters. But I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of her music. For me, it's all about the melodies. They are very memorable and I bought both her albums immediately and have been listening to them almost daily since. I don't like every song. Some just sound silly. The ballads bore me. But what I do like, I like a lot. Her music is very interesting and upbeat. Hard to be in a bad mood while listening to Alizee. I also recommend her other CD and her live DVD. Both are top notch.

Her first CD - A must have........2006-11-24

Awesome! I learned about this artist by stumbling on her American fan site: Alizee America. I don't understand French but after hearing a couple of her songs there I was immediately hooked and had to get the CD. Being that this is her first CD, it is a must have. If you've seen Russell Crowe's latest movie: A Good Year, then you'll recognize the song: Moi... Lolita. A great buy if you can get this CD and her second one: Mes Courants Electriques. You don't have to understand French to enjoy great music. Thanks!

The whole CD is happy and lovely. I can say any particular song is magnificent, but the it is a quality work, and somthing you want to hear over and over again.

Fresh french Pop at its best.......2001-11-07

This CD shows you the different kind of music heard in europe these day. In Germany the CD didn't came out right now, so I had to order an import. The music is a very modern kind of pop, sung by beautiful ;) Alizee. If you like french/euro pop, you will like this album. Electronic music with a nice voice with a changing tempo between the whole record. As an bonus you get 2 remixes of moi...lolita, in a fast dance-style. Surely its an item for fans, but I think the Japan-CDs sound better, so its worth the money.

Probably the best female performer I've seen in 20 years. Alizee has everything, sultry voice, great style, sensusality, sexuality, innocence, beautiful form, eye contact, great song writers and music.
I saw her in paris, France, Jan of 2004 and was blown away by her. She's hard to describe, but amazing is the closest word.You can almost feel the warth, love and affection she emits, as she sings or speaks live.
I've never seen such an angelic person of this magnatude before, it's almost overwhelming. Her fans, 7 to 70 are mesmorized by who she is and stands for.
She is so loved, you can almost taste it. She also cares very very much about her fans and has proved it, more than once in STARS A DOMICLE.
Every song is 5 out of 5, so just Go buy it ,,,anD then find the vdeos and be ready to be addicted!
