A lot of variety.......2007-04-15
There are some very "danceable energetic" songs, some "lounge chill-out" ones, a rap, some which flert with electronic music, and even a narration of a soccer match (13 minutes, very boring!).
There's a touch of traditional African music in every one of them.
In general I think it's a great CD.
I don't know if kids will like it (I bought this CD to take with me on a volunteer trip to Kenya. I hope the children at the orphanage will like it), but adults can be sure to enjoy it.
It's only 12 tracks and the playing time is 62 minutes.
I really love at least 3 of those (the first one from Mali MAKES you move).
Excellent album for kids--3-year-old's favorite.......2006-09-22
