My friend originally got this album for herself, but after hearing it only once, I knew I needed to have it! The feel of this CD is difficult to put into words; you just need to experience it for yourself. If you're having a lazy day and you just need some "get-up-and-go" you've found the right music for it! It'll get your pulse up and your body moving, no question. My favorite track is "Hot Oil No Sweat" which not only gets me on my feet in a matter of seconds, but makes me long for a dance scarf and a pair of finger cymbols. While it is not exactly bellydancing music, some songs could definitely be used for that. It would also be awesome background music for an intimate night with your partner. Money well spent, in every way.

While this album is very well done I find it repetitive and not as diverse as I would have liked it to be. I have listened to quite a few of Brent Lewis' albums and they all kind of sound the same. Brent Lewis certainly deserves respect for his talents but I find this cd and the other that I recently bought "Pulse" to be almost caged.

As a fitness instructor I find myself popping this in again and again.The rhythym of this disc is inspiring and makes you want to move.

This is a wonderful drums only CD. The more you listen the more you like it. Just close your eyes and use your imagination!

Rhythm fun!.......2005-09-21

I've been taking bongo lessons, and I use this CD to play along with for fun. The previous reviewer is correct--if this CD doesn't make you move, there is something seriously wrong with you! This was my first Brent Lewis CD, and I can't wait to purchase another. Highly recommended--
