The music consists of two sonic forms: the tones of tuning forks cut to frequencies known as healing codes and the vocal mantra chant Yod Hey Shin Vav Hey which is the 5-fold name of the Divine, Yeshua the Redeemer.

The frequencies come from the book Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse by Drs. Leonard Horowitz and Joseph Puleo. They are 174, 285, 396, 417, 28, 639, 741, 852 and 963. The music has the power to cleanse imbalanced energy fields and has a powerful positive effect on the heart chakra. The beautiful vocals are by Goldman and Sarah Benson.

This is an amazing CD, far beyond my own expectations. I have always enjoyed Jonathan Goldman's musical style, combining sacred chants and new age music. But this time, he has seriously outdone himself. The combination of tuning forks and the sacred YHSVH chant is wonderful for meditation, or even falling asleep by. I will often listen to it while I am reading, or just relaxing in my chair. If you are a serious practitioner of yoga or other meditation techniques, this CD would be perfect for you.

I was interested in the lost solfeggio frequncies and had purchased a number of cd's that utilized the tuning forks. Most of them really were not very good at all. I can't say I noticed anything happening. However, with Holy Harmony, I could really feel something going on here. I have both chanted along, (although, not for 72 minutes!), and just listened with headphones. I can feel my body literally vibrating when I'm listening to this cd. The chant of the ancient name of the Lord is very powerful. There is a profound feeling of peace and serentity that comes over me when I listen or chant with this cd. I'm not sure about the whole DNA activation theory associated with these frequencies but if there was something happening on the genetic level I don't know how we would begin to go about measuring something like that scientifically. But for meditation purposes, this a really a winner.

I had just found out about entrainment and wanted to try it to see what happens. Looking for a source of 9 hz frequencies, I found an article written by Jonathan Goldman that was fascinating about some of the work he's been involved in, and wound up buying this CD.

The first time I heard it, I was playing cards with family - it was rowdy and we weren't really listening to it much but still I felt odd tingles and aches moving through different parts of my body. After a few more times, I felt a definite heaviness in my heart during certain parts.

Fascinating and very interesting. Now I have to find out more about chakras and tuning forks. Ha!

The presentation is short but is repeated many times over a 72 minute period. It seems to vibrate and stimulate the entire nervous system. Expect some surprising results. It is very relaxing but can stir up personal insights too.

Album Description

This first of four volumes of The Complete Hildegard von Bingen collection introduces listeners to a remarkable woman ahead of her time. Hildegard von Bingen (1098-1179) was born the tenth child to a noble family and was dedicated at birth to the church. At age three she began to have visions of luminous objects, but soon realized she was unique in this ability and kept these visions secret for many years. Hildegard's religious education, which began at the age of eight, consisted of an ascetic life of prayer and contemplation. At a time when few women were accorded respect, she lived to become a highly respected writer, poet, composer and visionary sought after for her counsel by bishops, popes and kings.

At 38, she became the head of a vibrant convent where later her musical plays were performed. Music was extremely important to Hildegard as she considered it a way for mortals to experience heavenly, or spiritual ecstasy. According to Hildegard, before the Fall of Man, Adam had a pure voice and joined the angels in singing praises to God. After the Fall, music was invented and musical instruments were made in order to worship God appropriately. Perhaps this best explains why Hildegard's music most often sounds like what we imagine angels singing to be like.

Recorded in the nineteenth century church at Toddington, a tiny village in the countryside of Gloucestershire in western England, Sinfonye recreates the imaginative spirit of this exceptional composer. Hildegard is known for her hymns, anthems and sequences honoring saints, virgins and Mary, and Sinfonye delivers an unforgettable celebration of these praises and metaphorical writings in the plainchant tradition - a single vocal melodic line - a tradition common in liturgical singing of her time.

This CD & hardbound book combination is a wonderful view into the historic Russian Orthodox faith for the English speaker, the thesis of which builds off the Eastern understanding that an icon represents an invisible spiritual reality, the Church on earth is an icon of the heavenly church and that liturgical chant is an Icon (or image) of the angelic singing. These then, are in "divine harmon" as to how they work together to engage the faithful in the ascent to heaven. The CD is comprised of selections from the series of recordings by Anatoly Grindenko and the Russian Patriarchate Choir, and one portion of the book includes an essay by Anatoly Grindenko, and liner notes and complete hymn text in English. The other portion of the book is written by Russian iconographer Adolf Ovchinnikov, and explains the history and development of icons and their use in the Christian faith. It is comprised of a series of essays that have been translated into English, with copious! full-color icons representing ancient to recent icons, many previously unpublished (from St. Catherine's Monastery in Sinai, The Hermitage, the Byzantine Museum in Athens, and others). Book is 62 pages in length
