    Album Description

A personal favorite of everyone here at Brainticket land! Possibly the doomiest of the lot, this album is a lesson in old school raw Doom metal in the ancient Sabbath way. Dreary and cold with some of the bands strongest songwriting. Cyclone. 2005.

5 out of 5 stars Might as well be another Black Sabbath record.......2006-05-02

When I first heard Count Raven I thought it was a Black Sabbath album with Ozzy that I had somehow overlooked. The vocalist sounds indistinguishable from Ozzy to the point where he is blatantly ripping him off. However unoriginal Count Raven may be its well worth checking out if only because Ozzy isn't putting out anymore albums with Black Sabbath.

      3 out of 5 stars DOOM!!!!.......2005-07-29

here is another release i cant believe someone hasnt reviewed yet,so here are my thoughts on it...
file Count Raven along with bands like Black Sabbath,Trouble,Saint Vitus, etc. straight-up slow to mid-tempo doom metal.
i'd probably give it another star (or half of one)if it werent for the vocals - this guy has the Ozzy thing down!it's one thing to proudly wear your influences on the sleeve, and another to blatantly rip-off another artist
