Great Classic Swede Death.......2001-12-15

This album is a MUST for any fan of the Old Wave of Swedish Death Metal. It follows in the footsteps of the masters Entombed, Dismember, Carnage and the like. The guitar is dark, heavy and bruising. Metal guitar picks definetly have some say on this album. Track two has one of the best death riffs I've ever heard. This one is worth picking up for your collection of grass-roots Nordic death metal.

Swedish Death Metal at its Core........2005-01-25

"Nothing But Death Remains" is the only EDGE OF SANITY album that is Pure Death Metal, but it manages to be progressive as well on some twisted way, just listen to the epic opener "Tales..." it stars off with some atmospheric keyboard sampling, then the blastbeasts start and the guitars provide really heavy riffing with some insane approach.
The best track is by far "Human Aberration" with those pummeling rhythmic riffs and fast paced drums, and end on a spectacular note with "Immortal Souls" without losing pace form the preceding tracks.
This album is crucial early '90's Death Metal.

.....The ignorant first impression from another says this band is crap.....I will admit the quality on this cd isn,t 100% but it is unessasary to be that dismissive about it. The true and great mind called DAN SWANO is the major part of this music...this may not be one of the heaviest albums E.O.S produced but it still shows great musicianship. DAN SWANO is more known for his work elsewhere..such as(BLOODBATH,DIABOLICAL MASQUERADE,KATATONIA,NIGHTINGALE)... I could go on but researching such things is so much fun....find out for yourself but please don't take the negative comment before this one to heart......I love this album..but i find more enjoyment out of other albums such as....Crimson, Nothing but death remains, check them out....thanks for reading this

Ha Ha Ha, this band is NOT heavy. I repeat. Not HEAVY. This C.D should be ignored or sent in crates to the moon. Pretenders, Fake, Trendy, Weak, Boring. Just a few words that came to my mind when I heard this.
