Customer Reviews:
Oh, Hammerhead where art thou?.......2006-12-09
Into the Vortex is the best cd by this band hands down. When I first heard it back in the 90's I was blown away. I guess this is an "experimental" album, which usually means that its gonna stink. Most of the songs are un-listenable. There are maybe one or two keepers at most, and they pale in comparison to "Into the Vortex." Just buy that other cd or check out the singer's newer band VAZ, which is a lot better "Duh, the big city."
Mind Blowing, well ahead of its time........1999-10-19
This is a great album. Its hard and fast paced from beginning to end. HammerHead definetly has a unique sound all its own. I only wish the band was still together to make more albums with their innovative sound. Orange County, CA
My Favorite Band That Never Was.......1999-10-02
Duh, The Big City is an amazing album second only to "Into the Vortex", one of the most intense and overwhelming rock albums of our time. Incredibly raw without any metal age pretense Hammerhead has the heaviest bass distortion anywhere. Combine this with a well directed roaming guitar and intense drum tempo changes and the result is a heartfelt shoutdown. Two members of the trio are now known as Vaz.

eclectic revolution of rock and roll music...could have been the next nirvana...loud, catchy, angry, yet melodic and beautiful...
