Takes you back..........1999-10-03
I bought the CD because I really wanted "Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll," and I must say that the only thing dissappointing about the CD in its entirety is the sound quality of the one song that I really wanted. It sounds a bit staticky, but the other underground cuts on the disc just about make up for the song's audio (i.e. "Dog Talk," and "West Coast Poplock") I highly reccommend this CD. Take it to a party and put it in and watch everybody start to dance.

Great for rebuilding your collection.......2004-12-18
I originally found this CD when I was looking for songs that I had lost back in my old college days (especially the old 12" platters). Here is an excellent mix of songs. The songs that made me buy the CD are the obvious "roller skating" songs, but even the songs that got less airplay are notable. I highly recommend this one along with volume 3.
Solid Ol' Skool w/ Several Rarities..........2000-07-22
...it has the Dazz/Mo Bounce/Cutie Pie ubiquity I spoke of earlier, but I can excuse that Because it also has the rarities "Sun Is Here" by Sun, "Riding High" by Ohio Players protoges Faze-O and "Firecracker" by Mass Production. Thems definitely phonkay.

Master mix of the best funk/soul/R&B in existence.......2001-02-14
This collection is perhaps the funkiest set of songs outside of James Brown. This is the kind of music that your body just cannot help moving to. Mostly 70's style funk. Whether you just tap your feet, nod your head, or "get up, get on up" -- this is your collection. The happy party music here makes for a lively experience, and I recommend you turn up your bass knob just a little to hear those groovin' bass lines and funky percussion riffs. Simply put, and at this value, this CD collection ranks up there with any on the market today. But the best part of it all, is that these are the rare gems you never get to hear on the radio, and are all hits in their own right.
