I've only had the album for a day, but I'm hooked. There seems to have been a million remixes of Jackson 5 tracks, but this album wins hands down for the variety of ways old J5 songs have been interpreted. After a few listens it's hard to imagine the old classics sounding any other way. The DJs haven't scrawled thier names all over the original songs, but have treated them with respect - the way some beats complement the vocals are genius.
Imagine the Avalanches and Fatboy Slim let loose on the J5 back catalogue and you'll have a good idea what to expect.

Hip hop, house, reggae, funk, chill-out there's something for everyone as long as you like your music eclectic, funky, and soulful.

I bet you love it, whether you are familiar with Jackson 5 or not. In addition to Kenny Dope, great Japanese remixers joined this CD. I love each song in original albums, but I love this remixed album as well.
In particular, my favorites are "I want you back" remixed by Yasuharu Konishi, "Darling dear" by Muro, and "I want you back" by Kei Kobayashi.
You can enjoy Jackson Five in R&B, house, jazzy groove, and so on.
