In terms of his status as an Undaground Legend, it's "Game Over" for Lil' Flip. Longtime fans of the Texas freestyle king won't find much to love about his third major-label solo release, which seems geared towards the ever-expanding "commercial rap" market. Presented as a two-CD affair but in actuality only minutes longer than a single disc, Feel Me suffers from the usual flaws: played out subject matter (Flip and friends cock glocks and sling rocks ad nauseum), generically "hot" beats (c'mon, more slowed vocal samples from the Heatmakerz?), and guest appearances that smack of arranged marriages. That said, there's just enough talent shown here to make up for the filler: listeners will definitely be feeling the two tracks featuring David Banner while Red Spyda's production provides "Check (Let's Ride)" with an unexpectedly funky roots-reggae-meets-Southern-bounce sound. --Rebecca Levine

Do yourself a favor...STAY AWAY........2006-09-21

Let's start with the title of this album, "U Gotta Feel Me," which is clearly false advertising. Trust me, you do NOT "gotta feel" Lil' Flip. There are many far more productive and entertaining things to do with your time. I would recommend feeling him as little as possible, if this is the kind of music he puts out.

This is honestly one of the worst rap albums around. I can't explain in words how fake and unconvincing the music is; let's just say that "U Gotta Feel Me" is lame. It is the lamest of the lame. Why doesn't Lil' Flip just start hanging with D4L, the way he's going? He might as well. Then we'd all know better than to buy any more of his music.

This guy's lyrics make 50 Cent look original. The vast majority of the album is complete filler, and it doesn't even serve THAT purpose well. "Game Over" and "Sunshine" are worth a listen or two; the rest of it gives the rap genre a bad name. This guy may have been an underground legend, but he totally fell off and landed flat on his face with this album.

Somebody Pleaseeee Call Lil Flip!!!!.......2006-06-05

I finally figured out why Lil Flip is getting hated on and roasted by most down south artist today. He's not Lil Flip. He probably had about 4 funny punchlines on this whole album compared to 150 on Undaground Legend. Flip built his carrer and fan base on funny punchlines and straight snappin. I dont know if he tryin to prove that he's really hard or whatever but the style he's using now is just not him. TI knows that. Lil Flip will NEVER beat him on reality rap because thats not his style. If he stuck to the funny punchlines then people would be split down the middle as to who was the best. Classic Biggie and Tupac argument. Neither was better because the styles didnt compare regardless of whut anybody says. Somebody tell Flip to get back to being Flip.

Not Underground Legend, Thats for sure.......2006-04-09

Well like the title says, this album is no where near Underground Legend, but still is a decent album with a few good songs on it. Id have to agree that it seems like flip went a little mainstream and commercial on this album, but flip is still an all time favorite of mine. His new album is set to release in May and im hoping that its better than this, but this album is still worth listening to, just not what i had expected when i bought it. overall 3 stars

This is a good cd. It Is Lil Flip's U Gotta Feel Me, Chopped and Screwed. If you don't know what Chopped and Screwed is you need to learn some stuff about the Dirty South. I really enjoyed this cd. They should release some of Lil Flip and Three 6 Mafia older cd's Chopped and Screwed. R.I.P SCREW

Damn this is the good life. Lil Flip is an awesome rapper and his beatz are off the chain! I rap sometimes and it's beats like his that i like to rap to because they're nice and slow and have awesome stuff in em. The best track is definitely "Bounce" and "Game Over" is off the damn hook!!! I like playin' Game Over when i need somethin' to calm me down (especially after listening to that "Lean Back" s*** by the Terror Squad) If u don't have this buy it now!!!!
