a superb, under-rated score.......2003-07-09

There are some gorgeous songs in this score, including Lesley Ann Warren's "Valentine Candy", her magical duet with John Davidson in "Are We Dancing?" and Tommy Steele's infectious "Fortuosity".

However, its a shame that during the remastering process, they did not restore the dance interlude in "I'll Always Be Irish" or the additional music in the Overture (as heard in the recent Road Show DVD version).

Other choice numbers include the hilarious "There Are Those", with Geraldine Page and Gladys Cooper; John Davidson's spirited "Detroit"; and Lesley Ann Warren's duet with Joyce Bulifant singing the delightful "Bye-Yum Pum Pum".

Fans will relish this long-overdue soundtrack to one of the greatest Disney films ever made.

Well in that case: one advice, go get their debut Outside the Simian Flock, which is very good too. For me Paradisiac is in my top 3 albums of 2005, sorry for all the superlatives, but they're worth everysingle one of them...
