About the Artist
God has put together a talented, energetic and spirit-filled group of young adults for a total ministry experience. The members of this group share a common focus and purpose of outreach ministries along with singing, which in return adds substance to this God-given vision.

With a sound that is both cutting-edge contemporary, yet still firmly rooted in having down home church, God's Anointed People is creating its own unique definition and style of gospel music. This is one of the best Christian Gospel CD's, I have ever heard. It is encouraging, upbeat and says mountains in the words of each song. Super CD!!!

Prior to his conversion to positive music, Scoob Serious was a well known gangster and a contributor to street violence, which eventually led to his time spent in prison. However, during his experiences in his cell, he underwent life changing transformations. Upon his release he committed himself to changing lives, rather than trying to destroying them, with his influence as an artist.

I bought the CD and am thoroughly impressed with these young people's ministry. The words ring out and captivate you into hearing God's word through song. I have truly been blessed by this group's anointed sound. I know them through Mr. Shundon Cooper. He taught my daughter when she was in 5th grade. He was a great teacher and I know it was due to God having his hand on him. This is evident in his soul-stirring prelude to "You Are Worthy." (Track no. 3) Way to go Mr. Cooper and GAP. Love the Roberson family.

I wa sblessed to see Adrain Medearis and GAP preform live. Our church (Bellavista Missionary Baptist Church - Houston, TX)held a scholardhip fundraising concert with GAP, James Bignon and Dottie Peoples. This group is truly annointed and great. What another ministering album, full of bible truths and yes the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I was blessed recently to hear Babbie sing "Standing in the Gap" live here in WR, GA. But instead of using a track...she sang the song, accompanying herself on the piano. In between verses, she reiterated the importance of "standing in the gap" for each other and making intercession. Great song.

Other songs that are irrefutably were written to minister to me (must make it personal) are: For the Cause of Christ and To the Cross. It's true. "I must count my gains as losses that I may know Him. I claim no greater prize, than the cause of Christ. Treasures and trophies quickly pass, but only what's done for Christ will last. So I'll be living my life...only for the cause of Christ."

My husband introduced me to this CD, and I'm so glad he did. Babbie Mason has such a sweet voice, and the message in each song ministers to you just as sweetly. She's also a gifted songwriter as well.

I look forward to hearing more of her music.
