T-West's vocal abilities were first noticed as a very young child, when she stunned her church congregation with melodic notes that most adult vocalists struggle to deliver. She performed in several talent shows and showcases which helped to develop her versatile style. T-West was greatly influenced by such greats as Patti Labelle; Sade; Anita Baker; Angela Winbush; Stephanie Mills; Chaka Kahn; Stevie Wonder; Phyllis Hyman; Rachelle Ferrell; Prince; Michael Jackson; and Phillip Bailey. As a result, T-West has developed a unique style that integrates lush vocals, melodic hooks, intriguing lyrics and dramatic harmonies manipulating her powerful, limitless voice as if playing and instrument.

This CD is a glimpse of the greatness of this artist, T-West. I can't listen to it enough. I recently had the pleasure of catching this artist in concert. The things she can do with her voice have probably never been done before. This CD is well worth the purchase price, just as her concert was well worth the admission.
