Simply amazing!!!.......2005-10-19
I was browsing an R&B site that mentioned how your CD was a classic back in the day. As soon as I heard a sample cut from this CD, I had to get it. WOW! She is such a beautiful girl with an amazing voice. Her songs are fresh and so original with their own style. Some of the reviewers were right. Your marketing team did a very poor job on making you known on the air waves. My favorite jams from this cd is "I Don't Need You", "Alone" & "I'm The One For You." 10/10 in my books. Its hot!! For those looking for some solid R&B jams, Terry Dexter is an artist you should consider!

Terry your PR people certainly have not been doing your album justice. You said you'd make it & you did!!! We need to hear more of you on the airwaves here in the "D". I hope the next one you drop gets more play than your current CD, it really should, it's the BOMB!!! Until then...SHS fo' life!!! :-)

I thought nobody wouldn't believe what she's trying to say on her lyrics 2 her songs. I think she's real talent but she kept messing up so badly. I hope she'll come back and do 'nother album 'cuz I'd been awaiting for her to put out 1 in 'bout 5 or 6 years. Wish her all the success and the talent she has in her. But she's need to come up with a more mature album with sum upbeats and stuff. Not to say I hate her, but she has a remarkable voice. I pray that she'll come 4 recovery on new songs she working on. Keep it up, Terry I'm a real big fan 2 your music. 'Specially recommmend albums from Alicia Keys, Mary J. TWO WAY STREET.......2004-10-19
I haven't gotten the cd yet but I am going to. I heard TWO WAY STREET on the Deliver Us from Eva soundtrack and could not get enough. I decided to do a search to see if she had more to offer and she does. I listen to a sample of the cd and liked what I heard. I agree with the other opinion she was not well promoted. I wish her the best.
AN ALBUM THAT IS OVERLOOKED!.......2004-03-25
You know what, when Terry Dexter first came out, I wasn't at all interested in her because I felt her first single didn't move me to well. Another time, I was hearing one of my friends saying that her CD was really nice. I finally bought it and I think this CD is really good. She's just another artist that didn't get promoted enough. When I first listen to this CD, I didn't like it at first but after the second and third time, I realize this girl can really sing and she deserves more.

one in a million.......2000-05-03
this cd contains 5 versions of this song. track 1 is hectors remix. it is so so so good. just when you think the song is over, it comes right back. the next track is another club mix that is ok but its not as good as hex hectors. the third track is a remix version of hectors remix of track 1. they are both equally good. the 4th track is kind of like a hip hop groove to it. it has rapper sole in it. and track 5 is the regular version. terry dexter also resung versions for the club mixes and a totally different version for track 4.

I love this song. It makes me think about my boyfriend and all of his ex-girlfriends and crushees that want him back. If somebody doesn;'t like this song then they need to just go live under a rock.

Another Overlooked Singer.......2003-09-30
Aaaah, Terry Dexter. I apologize because the masses ignored the unbelievable beauty of your voice. But feel comforted knowing that you have joined a growing (although rather dubious) list of great singers who have (for one reason or another) gone unnoticed: Beverly; Trina Broussard; Jesse Powell; Lathun; Charisse Arrington; Cindy Mizell; Tina Moore; Phajja; Nicole Renee; Tina Arena; Jordan Hill; Rahsaan Patterson; Debelah Morgan; Peggy Blu, etc. Maybe one day we will wake up and learn to love substance over style, talent over flash. Then maybe the Britneys, Mandys, Brandys, et al will be relegated to where they belong - the trashcans of our memories.

Terry Dexter, by far, outshines her competition. It's a shame that a singer with her vocal ability isn't selling platinum albums. She has a very captivating voice that will make an instant fan of anyone who hears her sultry voice!

She is an excellent artist that has not been reconized for her work. I truly love her whole album not just one song . Not only am I a fan of her's my family member's feel the same way. Trust me this young lady has a lot going for herself. There is so much I can say about her in so little time. Her voice is beautiful and her songs are real and touching. She is the kind of artist that make's you sit and think, and also appreciate things.
