I ain't heard from La Chat for a long time but one day I was at the record store and just happen to see this album. At first I was skepticle because she ain't with Three 6 no more but then I figured if Gangsta Boo and T-Rock did it, why not. Well I found this album beat the hell out of my expectations. It's hot all the way through. Buy this album !!!

4 out of 5 stars La Chat "Dramatize" MY REVIEW: 3.5 / 5.......2005-02-03

This is the third review I've written for La Chat. Her first album "Murder She Spoke" was a masterpiece. (4.5/5) Her second album "Ultimate Revenge" was a major disappoitment (2.5/5)And now Chat is back at it. Reading the reviews for this cd, I thought it was going to be perfect. I was a little disappointed. However in my opinion I WOULD GIVE THIS CD A REVIEW OF 3.5/5.

There are some great tracks including: Skittles (Pop A Pill), Whateva, Whateva feat. Kinfolks, Use What U Got & Round & Round.
But there were some tracks that were to SOFT: "Still Gettin My Clit Licked" & "Call Me" feat. Erika Kane were to R&B.

This is still a must have for Chat fans although she needs to have less R&B singers on her next cd which is supposed to be released in July '05.

This cd is the best cd La Chat has made, and all the beats are sick. Her Ultimate Revenge wasnt too good.

Okay, if you're reading this, you have an idea what La Chat is about. What you're wondering is how the beats are now that she switched teams. Well, they're frickin sick, because she's with Rap Hustlaz. Nakia Shine, Jack Frost, and Streetknok held it down this time around, and if you've heard "Round n Round" on the radio, you know they're producing straight fire. On the lyrical side, Chat's flow is tight. Plus, her voice used to sometimes hurt my ears, but it doesn't on this cd at all.

12/31/04: I had to add this, because this album is better than I thought. Why? Because I listen to it all the time. It's not a "five mic" or "XXL" album, but it stays in my stereo. Maybe it's the beats, or that Chat really does have serious skills, or that I just really love Memphis rap. Actually, it's probably the beats (the production is phenomenal, if I may use that word). Whatever, Chat still keeps it all together, and talks about real ish on this album, not just money, guns, dope, and pearl tongue. I'm really looking forward to a new Kinfolks album after hearing this, too - Rap Hustlaz runnin the game!

I've been waiting a long time for an album that can top (or come close to) Murder She Spoke. Ultimate Revenge dropped and it was okay...but Dramatize is here and the REAL La'Chat has returned! The album is long and sweet. The beats are bangin' and she's on fire with her lyrics. And her new cartel at Rap Hustlaz is sick with it. This album is 78 minutes and 48 seconds of pure BUMP!!! Go cop it!
