About the Artist
Big Smo is originally from San Diego, California. Hes lived in Bedford County, Tn for more than 22 years. Hes 26 years old with a daughter and a wife.

Big Smo is multi-talented with the ability to play several instruments and write poetry. He is experienced in hip/hop music and rap.

His musical influences as a child were the Beastie Boys, Fat Boys, Dj Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, Run DMC, Hank Williams Jr., along with many others. Poetry writing was one of his hobbies. Horror movies were also one of his passions. He played the trumpet and the bass drum in Shelbyville Central High Schools marching band.

After graduating in 1994, he tried several different careers. It seemed he always returned to music. Big Smo has worked with several local artists and has gained a lot of experience in the music business.

Presently hes finishing his new album Kuntry Kitchen. This truly is a one of a kind album. Several local artists are on this album. G.O., Dj Orig, Lil Felon, Lil Smurf, and Crystal. All of which bring their own talent to the album.

Big Smo has a unique style, unlike any other. His voice is coarse yet his words are crisp. The beats on Kuntry Kitchen are methodical and mesmerizing.
