The World Wasn't Ready For These Ladies.......2005-11-19

In 1999, female trio Blaque came out of the gate with their first single "808". TLC immediately came to people's minds when notice was taken. And although this group resembles the ladies who were not "too proud to beg" over a decade ago and the fact that they are the discovery of the late Left Eye, the ladies of Blaque have their own thing going and it's evident with their self-titled debut. They shine on their brand of R&B which is dashed with an alternative flavor. Highlights on the set include, "Roll With Me", "I Do", "Leny", "Time After Time"(a splendid remake), "Bring It All To Me", and "Right Here Next To Me", just to name a few. Although their debut reached platinum status, it was pretty much overshadowed by the success of Destiny's Child who, at the time, were making a name for themselves with their brand of music. This album is a must-have.

Blaque's Debut album.......2005-05-13

I remember this album when I was in the 7th grade. I fell in love with this album and played it constantly. This album blends soulful R&B with a funky alternative vibe. Each memeber has a distinctive sound. Brandi's sweet vocals,Shamari's powerful soul stylings,and Natina handles the rap installments. This album has been certified Platinum. Remember,this was 1999-2000.

Overshadowed!!!.......2004-10-08

Great album! I didn't know how good these girls could sing, listen. This album is glorious, from the "night club" mix-Roll With Me, to the neo-classic sound of-Mind of a King. But from ten to fourteen is when it get's OFF THE CHAIN!!!! beautiful ballads. Love the lead singers voice. This album was completely overshadowed. My favorite tracks are:

Sadly disapointing.
There are some tracks that stand out (3) but the trio do not offer much lyrically. I cant grasp the concept of the song "Lenny." Is this song an acronym or is it dedicated to a Lenny. The interludes are annoying. But on another note they did a good job with the remake of "Time after Time, " but the songs that were radio air played were as good as it gets (if you even liked those) "Bring it all to me" and "808." "rainbow drive" nice message but the approach is lacking creativity. If music is supposed to be a form of expression minus having to make sense or being a stimuli then this cd is great!

If you want this cd Sample it please I know they could have did better than that. this album is so Corny I like three songs out of fourteen and that's not even average. If you want this album buy it used. not brand new i payed 16.99 for this album. I was very upset with this group. Everyone told me that I need to trade in this album. And no the 808 bumpin remix is not on here. If torch is relesed, Which I hope will be. I hope it's better than This.

Blaque is so unique. There first hit 808 is tight. I like how Natina raps and how the other two have those strong slouful voices. I can't wait for Torch to come out. Yeah, Blaque!

I really like the 808 remix (she aint got that boom like i do). it reminds me of mself. im a freak dancer and im always trying to show off but theres this girl who has to compete with me even though she admits im better. this song is great. i dot like that when i was reading the guidelines for this it says to " focus comments on album's content". i consider that insulting because it dosent sya that in the adult reveiw section. its like the people who made this think that just because these kids are younger they cnt focus on the point.

I loved this song and still do...it's just timeless. The late Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes of TLC really knew talent when she saw it. Blaque had four great singles, "808" "I Do" "She Aint Got Tha Boom" and of course this one right here, "Bring it all to me." I Love it! Funky hip hop-infused beats with an R&B touch was a number 1 in the making! I really think this song will become classic amongst soul/R&B lovers. I love how it only features JC of *N Sync, the only member of the boy band who can actually sing. And yes, he actually *does* sound black in this song! Their voices and harmonies are great here! I would really reccomend this plus in addition there are different remixes and versions, a solo version (which i dont like as much), an instrumental and a remix featuring rapper 50 cent. "Bring it all to me" featuring *N sync (JC) revieves a high grade of A+ and will go down as one of the best 90's R&B/pop jams of all time...

Where to start! I liked the original version of "Bring it all to me" but unfortunately NSYNC singing about "thug appeal" just wasnt happening for me. However, this single with only Blaque is great. They can sing about feeling thug appeal and actually pull it off! Not only that, but they sound great at the same time and you sure can't beat a great song. Even greater news is the fact that this CD comes along with two GREAT remixes. Now if you're a fan of Hip-hop and R&B grooves, then this is the song for you. The remix of "Bring it all to me" featuring 50 cent offers Blaque's angelic voices, along with a jumpin rap from 50 cent. Also, the triple threat remix offers a lot more to hard core hip hop fans with some pretty tight rhymes. What more can i say! Blaque is hot and this CD is well worth the money!

"Bring It All To Me" without N'Sync.......2000-04-23

I bought this CD and I love the song "Bring it all to me." It's a great groove. However, for those of you who WANT the song with N'SYNC singing the second chorus, you NEED to get the full CD, NOT this import. I like this version because it doesn't have N'Sync, not that I don't like them...they are great. But I like the song with the girls singing all the lyrics. I really like this import. The other three mixes I don't really care for. It's not even close to the original versions, more like a different song totally with "bring it all to me" sung in the background once in a great while.

THE SINGLE 808 IS DA BOMBS. I GOT THE WHOLE CD AND I LOVE ALL THE SONGS. THEY R GREAT DRESSERS AND SINGERS. MY FAVORITE ONE IN THE GROUP IS NATINA SHE RAPS REALLY GOOD AND SHE IS REALLY PRETTY. I LOVE THE GROUP.

What is this?! The lyrics are so inane in this song. Who cares? Try writing some more far-reaching lyrics rather than this mindless Snap! Crackle! Pop! noise. Who wants to embrace lyrics like these? Listen to Rage Against the Machine and notice the lyrical complexity and metaphorical language used in that band (who actually write and play their own music, I might add). I'll give these girls three stars for encouragement and for the song being at least somehwat catchy. --Kelly Magovern

I think the group Blaque is AWSOME and there single 808 is my favorite song. My friends and I listen to it all the time. All three of them have really good voices and they sound great together. Keep op the good work, I can't wait until you have another hit single!

The sound is awesome, the vocals are smooth, and the beats make you wanna dance. If you listen to it long enough you will know every word and you will get addicted, and need a Blaque fix at least twice a day. There isn't much wrong with the song except that I wish the verses were long. Peace out~

I love Blaque. Love to hear more from them, but this CD isn't much. It's just a lot of old material took from their first album. I guess something like a greatest hit but not exactly all the way there.

As anyone can see this is basically their first album. "Can't Get It Back" was for their 2nd album but of course we all know the deal with that. And "As If" from "Bring It On" movie. What really messed this collection up was the fact that "I'm Good" wasn't added to it or "I Can't Trust Myself". Next to that it was only 10 tracks all together total.

With all that said. There just isn't anything interesting here. Not even up to date pictures in the booklet or any word, note, or letter, from the group about what's being going on with them lately and their musical careers. Move along and find their unreleased songs online somewhere. This is just one of those get-out-there things to keep them alive and somewhat seen.

I just recieved this CD today from Amazon.co.uk, and its really really good! I like it because it has both the 808 and I Do videos on. Which are never shown on TV anymore. I also like it because it has all the cool remixes that you can't get anywhere else. I have played the videos loads already! This is a great Australian release!

My favorite version is track five which is the video version featuring Left Eye, and i was thrilled when i read the album description about the CD-ROM videos for 808 and I do and better yet, the picture gives a full screen just like TV. This import is a must have for every Blaque fan. So if you don't have one, GET ONE!!!

dis is a hot single dat is an essential to any r&b/pop collection. i do is an extremely catchy motown style swingin song dat will infiltrate your made from da first time you hear it. it does sound very old fashioned r&b but still wit blaque's own style they make it sound up to date too. if you like bring it all to me you will love "i do" because every song dat blaque puts out is a quality track. also, the i do remix wit left eye sounds very good because left eye is very talented too and she adds to da song wit her geat rhymes . . . da trackmasters precision mix reminds me a lot of "roll with me" off of blaque's self-titled debut album (which i also reccomend) BOTOM LINE: blaque is great and they out do thereselves every single time they come out with a song . . .
