About the Artist
EDPIERCE
Biography
Born under the influence of mainstream R&B, Philly soul, and pop music, R&B artist EdPierce began the groundwork for his latest release, "The Evolution of a Man" in the city of brotherly love. In the tradition of many great artists, EdPierce began singing in his church gospel choir. At a young age, he would perform with the world renowned Philadelphia Boys Choir, where he received professional vocal training and traveled the globe performing at some of the world's most prestigious venues.
During his teen years, what began as a love for singing quickly became a passion. This passion led EdPierce to enter and win many talent contests within the Philadelphia area. EdPierce's enthusiasm & tireless pursuit of his dream attracted many people. One such person, an agent, believed in EdPierce's dream of stardom so much that he guided this talented entertainer to successful auditions for roles on "The Cosby Show" and "Amen" as well as invitations to perform at various venues and events.
In addition to his incredible voice, EdPierce was also a highly recruited athlete. He decided to enroll at Fordham University in New York City, the heart of the entertainment world, so he could increase his knowledge and pursue his passion. At Fordham, he excelled on the football field, achieving both All-Conference and Pre-Season All-America status, but became known for his on-stage performances.
After graduating from Fordham, he continued to write and seek out some of New York's hottest spots to showcase his vocal skills. After a number of performances at some of New York's most respected venues, including Café Wha? and the famed Apollo Theatre, EdPierce began to work with various music producers, in hopes of putting together the perfect demo that would catch the attention of the major labels. Never being quite satisfied with the end product, EdPierce took the road less traveled. He looked to connect with another producer, one who could bring out the best in his songs. As fate would have it, Edwin Ramos, Jr., one of the music industry's most talented upcoming producers appeared on the scene.
Finding exactly what he was looking for in a producer, EdPierce signed with Esome Music Entertainment and chose to have Edwin Ramos produce his entire debut album, "The Evolution of a Man". EdPierce collaborated with Edwin Ramos to create the project, bringing a fresh and unique style to a music industry filled with sameness. "The Evolution of a Man" showcases EdPierce's vocal versatility as well as his captivating writing style.
The tracks on this album are laced with lessons for today's society, on evolving both in spirit and in character to a man. The album opens with the up tempo melody "Playa Games" to the soulful, "Lost Without Your Love" culminating with the emotional ballad, "Did You Know?" The first single, "I Think About You", is a R&B ballad wrought with feeling which fuses a little ol' school groove with a contemporary vibe.
The world is sure to stand up and take notice as EdPierce takes R&B to a new evolution of soul.

Album Description
Error In Evolution is 10 tracks of Thrashing Death Metal madness, faster than the last record, deadlier than the grim reaper. It's got a roaring drum sound, crunchy guitars, double bass-layers, attacking riffs, sawing bass line, creepy atmosphere but with a Rock 'N' Roll edge and the angelic voice of Johan Lindstrand (ex-The Crown). The album features a cover of the classic 'He's Back (The Man Behind The Mask)', originally recorded by Alice Cooper. Nuclear Blast. 2007.

Album Description
Man was one of the most promising rock bands to come out of Wales in the early 1970s. Along with Brinsley Schwarz, they helped establish the core of the pub-rock sound, but they played louder and also had a progressive component to their work that separated them from many of their rivals. exceptionally talented new artist!.......2003-10-20
my all time favorite songs are (in no particular order):
forever your angel
the river
the one
the things i need to say
don't worry about us
bad boy christmas
the river dance mix
"forever your angel" is wonderful happy pop dance music, and it reminds you that we're not alone. a light, hopeful song..
"the river" is a stunning ballad. the guitar and flowing music goes well with the beautiful lyrics which alan has penned. the river has such wonderful imagery.. truly special..
"the one" another great upbeat song with hope and longing. you'll want to keep hearing it over and over.. i kept singing to this one.. so romantic and idealistic!! (sigh.. :) )
"the things i need to say" and "don't worry about us":
strong deep ballads. they demonstrate alan's sensitive side. if you are feeling down and alone, listen to these tracks, and you'll feel more hope!
"the river dance mix" as above, but with a great diggable beat!
"bad boy christmas": i never thought that i would like any more new "popular christmas songs", but this one gets you hooked! it's cute and fun, and great for the holidays ..
all in all, this is a strong impressive work from a new artist on an independent label. i highly recommend this cd. his lyrics are amazing and display a deepness and beauty which is only the tip of the iceberg for what we can expect from this talented young artist!
