Customer Reviews:
Three of their best albums on a mid-priced 2-CD set........2004-05-16
This U.K.-only 2-CD set contains three of The O'Jays best albums at quite a good price. Whereas the 1978-issued "So Full Of Love" album includes the top-charting hit "Use Ta Be My Girl" the other two albums are not really well-known to many as they were released in 1985 and 1987 respectively and the Philadelphia International label had by then gone into decline and its new releases were not (generally) charting well. Both "Love Fever" and "Let Me Touch You" are, however, good examples of how this legendary group adapted to changing times and trends while still sounding as smooth and soulful as they did in the 1970s.
