I am amazed at the people who have not heard of Ronnie Lovejoy, but have now because I purchased his cd I play it in the house and car and I love the song "Give my life", Now I know why I liked it so well, it was a personal conversation with him and God. All of Lovejoy's music that I can find is in my Blues library.

This song is really amazing to me. It speaks for every man (and woman) out there doing wrong. The beat is what cAught my ear I was talking to a friend and it was on his radio so I ask what it was. After hearing "sho wasn't me " the first time I bought his cd. Now I have to get "still wasn't me". Mr. Lovejoy has an awesome voice also. I highly recommend his work.

Excellent Modern Blues.......2000-07-06

This is my second Ronnie Lovejoy CD and I was not disappointed in the least. Lovejoy's voice gives you the feeling that he has been through some blues and has a way of making you feel and get into his music. Also, his upbeat tunes makes you move and his slow jams makes you remember. I plan on adding all of Lovejoy's releases to my Blues library.

I think this is one of the best CD's that I have heard in a long time I had never heard of Ronnie Lovejoy this CD was given to me as a gift and trust me it is one of the geatest that I have ever had. On this particular CD every song is simply great I am about to put this guy in my Blues library. Keep up the good work.

Born in Marylebone, London, at the End of Ww2, Guitarist John Renbourn is Rightly Acknowledged as One of the Fathers of Contemporary British Folk Music, and One of the Finest Acoustic Fingerstyle Players in the World. Renbourn's Music - Often Referred to as Folk-baroque - is a Unique Fusion of British and Celtic Folk, with Strong Blues, Jazz, Classical Guitar and Eastern Influences. Along with the Equally Feted and Influential Guitarist/Singer Bert Jansch, and Singer Jacqui Mcshee, He Formed the Seminal British Folk Quintet Pentangle in 1967. After Leaving in the Early 70s He Cut a Series of Acclaimed Solo Albums, Eventually Forming the John Renbourn Group in the 80s. He Continues to Work Both as a Solo Performer and Within the Group Format, Often Appearing with Musicians Like Stefan Grossman, Tony Roberts and Robin Williamson, Whilst He also Still Regularly Performs with Former Pentangle Singer Mcshee.
