Great 80s hardcore band.......2003-02-27
This is a great 80s hardcore band. I love this cd. 26 songs is pretty good. most of the songs are relatively short. Too bad i never got to see them live. If you like Agnostic Front you would like this band.
80's hardcore.......2000-09-13
I was heavily into the punk scene in the 80's. No, not 7 Seconds, Sex Pistols, or Descendants. I have always been into the most extreme heavy music no matter if it's punk or death metal. I'm talking Agnostic Front, Mob 47, old DRI, Blood Feast, Negative Approach, Youth of Today, Napalm Death, etc. I still remember the hoopla created when this record came out. Saw them at the Farm in Frisco many times. As violent in concert as you'd expect. This is a must for all true hardcore fans. By the way Amazon, how about ordering a couple more of these cd's so more of us can enjoy? What's up? Turn it up!

This was one of my favorite live bands from the 80s and I'm glad to see that some great stuff like this is being reissued in CD format.
Attitude Adjustment? A MUST!.......1998-12-17
This is a MUST for any Attitude Adjustment fan. It includes all sixteen original tracks from the "American Paranoia" released on Pusmort vinyl in 1986, AND ten bonus tracks from the 1985 "Dead Serious" tape. The quality of the ten bonus tracks are quite exceptional for what was originally a taped recording. The sound quality is great all around!

Moody & Introspective & Wonderful.......2003-03-26
While this cd is a departure from George Howard's funky and/or smooth jazz styles of previous works, the artistry is pure and ahead of its time. Almost a "hip-hop jazz", the genius of his classic style shines through. Obviously this cd proves that George Howard was not afraid to experiment in his quest of proving that he is an accomplished musican. While the most different of his works, it is clearly the result of his growth. George Howard is always a pleasurable experience.
Not the first Howard you should get.......2001-01-14
This album comes about 2-3 records after his best work, unfortunately. Howard was one of the original smooth jazzers, blending traditional playing with comntemporary song structure and themes, to great, listenable effect. On this record, however, he sounds like he's just trying to keep up with all of the younger or more popular jazz artists who took what he did and ran with it. If you aren't familiar with his work, start off with "Love Will Follow" or "Personal". This is an unsure, uneven record, even for fans of his work or smooth jazz.
Great rush hour music!.......2000-06-11
A great album! Probably not as romantic and sultry as his Midnight Mood album, just a little different style... more upbeat and flowing. If you listen to it in your car during rush hour, it completely obliviates everything around you and you get lost in your own little world with George Howard. My first album with him was in 1984 with Steppin' Out, and I truly will miss a great artist!

Karlow the Great - Attitude Adjustment.......2002-04-03
AMG EXPERT REVIEW: Attitude Adjustment seems far too thought-out to be a debut album. Yet, as difficult as it may seem to consider Karlow the Great a rookie on this 2001 release by KaZaZZ Records, Attitude Adjustment is indeed his debut. And what a debut it is, ecompassing three aspects of life: "the Game," "the Times," and "the Life," in that order. Karlow begins his album singing and rapping about the Game, which mostly centers around women. The album-opening "Girls" stands out as one of this album's highlights, a lively ode to what makes the Game such a sport for men like Karlow. After four more songs about the game, the man known as the Great begins the most substantial section of this album, what he calls the Times. Here, Karlow explores a range of topics relavent to contemporary life, from songs about his male friends in the Game ("My Dogs") to himself ("Bald and Buff," "That's My Jam"). Finally, Karlow embarks on the most serious section of his debut album, the Life. Rather than emphasize the darker side of life - which can no doubt be harsh, even for someone as "great" as Karlow - the multi-talented artist instead emphasizes the lighter side of life, first singing about "Havin' Fun" before getting quite personal on the album's two final songs, "Love My Life" and "Principles of Life." By the time you reach the conclusion of this album, you surely understand why Karlow is referred to as the Great - his world outlook is truly vast, and he articulates his outlook through songs that are as enjoyable as they are enriched with knowledge. Furthermore, you become so seduced by Karlow's themes that you often overlook the fact that he produced this debut also as well as wrote the entirety of it, yet another testament to his greatness. Considering Attitude Adjustment is only Karlow's debut, you can't help but wonder how much greater music is to come from such a unique and blessed artist.

Sweet CD.......2002-03-31
This is a sweet CD with some new stuff. It definitely has its own style. I really like it and it has 18 tracks on it.
