About the Artist
The Little Voices of Praise consist of 5 young girls, ages between 5 and 11. All the girls are related. 3 of them are sisters and the other 2 are sisters and they are first cousins together. The lead singer Chanel Newton, started singing at the tender age of 5. Striving to be like her grandmother, Songbird Evagelist Lemmie Battles of Chicago Ill. Chanel once came to her uncle Producer J.Teeza with an Ideal singing on a record with her sister and cousin. Producer J.Teeza heard the girls sing and was amazed and decided to sign them to his label, Gold Train Records. And after almost a year of recording, The release of the L.V.P Project was done and complete. With songs ranging from country gospel, to alternative gospel, to hip hop gospel, This CD has a mixture of all flavors with vocal help from J.Teeza. Theres also a pretty gospel duet on the CD featuring J.Teeza and Chanel singing about what a mighty god we serve. The future looks pretty bright for these girls as long as they keep god on there side and stay in church.
