About the Artist
J.W. & MR. J., two young individuals, on a quest, with one major goal in mind, to succeed and strive hard in making music that many has lost touch and sight of. Since obtaining the outlook of their direction, J.W. & MR. J.'s road to obtaining success hasn't always been so pleasant.

J.W., a native born of New York, has always been inspired by music and it's leading artists, such as, Smokey Robinson, Eddie Kendricks, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and so on. This interest instilled, thrusted J.W. to pursue a singing career with small local groups. During this period they would tour local clubs throughout the Tri-State area, always encouraging his hunger for something greater. Although not at the time, J.W. had underwent some unresolved differences with these groups, leaving him finally to pursue a solo career. During the summer of 1996, J.W. and MR. J.'s paths crossed, unknowingly aware of the outlook from their encounter, the two would later transcend and form a musical bond of futuristic sounds, beats, and lyrics embraced with that old school vibe.

MR. J., a native of New York, also met with some of the same similar indifferences as J.W., although not the same, MR. J., was inspired by rap's leading artists such as, Afrikka Bambataa & The Zulu Nation, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, KRS-One, and Eric B. & Rakim, just to name a few. MR J.'s rythmatic beats, and off-centered lyricability were only offsprings of those inspired legendary rap heroes who engulfed his interests to become a musical visionary. J.W. & MR. J.'s first single, "U-Don't-Know", is only a small piece, or sliced portion of a new wave multicultural Hip-Hop R&B enticing album pie, that's sure to leave you all craving for more.

J.W.'s motto or words of inspiration to fans or people in general would be to "Always follow your heart, because your heart never lies. Follow your dreams, never give up, and don't ever underestimate the underdogs".

Equally as well MR. J. states, "Blessed be the Lord, for without the Lord, no things could have been done. Count your blessings, and never look a gift horse in the mouth, for those who smile may never shine the light of goodness, but something other. Always arm yourself with the shield of God. Peace". Don't you ever go is an excellent song for lovers who may be going through problems. This song expresses the bond that lovers have in a relationship. It shows how a couple can go through problems in a relationship, but always manage to find their way back to each other. This song also shows that there are no boundaries when you find true love; you do whatever you have to do to make the relationship work.

I like the whole cd (that is rare these days)....but my favorite track is (6) EXTACY.... (4) BOUNCE WITH ME is second....thank you 4 sharing your love experiences with your fans, it's fresh, needed, it makes you think of all the aspects of love, what it is and what we may think it is..... thanks for keeping it real

I Heard this cut "U Don't Know" at Rainbow Music on 125th Street Harlim New York during a instore play review of New Music by the time I got to the counter to buy they had sold out. When I got home I went to Amazon.com on my computer and found the same album . I am ording today. I rate JW the Official. Out Standing, 5 Stars . "U Don't Know" is a very strong dance tune with good easy to remember lyrics. the hook is great U Don't Know how I feel about you baby. It has great bass line and easy to dance to. JW is doing a great job in keeping you into the music. I recomend that all you DJ's doing your home parties add this to your CD collection. This is a exclent party record full of great beats.

My name is Camia Williams from New York City. I really enjoyed the album. I especially enjoy number 11. Which is called "Tell U Why". The reason why I love that song, is because I'm in a relationship, and that song explains the reason why I'm still in love with him. I also, like the album, because J.W. has his own style, he doesn't sound like anybody else, and you can relate to all of his songs. When you come home from a hard day at work, you can listen to J.W. When you're not in a good mood, you can listen to J.W. When you just had a fight with your man or woman, you can listen to J.W. So what I'm trying to say is, it's a very nice album, and you will definitely enjoy it.

Bounce with me is a great song. It has that R&B sound with the hip hop flavor. It's type of song that you can listen to anyday and anywhere. It's a song for partygoers and love makers.
