Strictly Live in '85 - Still Kicking Today.......2007-02-21
James Harman blows hot harp and his band cooks like crazy on this live CD. Good quality recording of live set captures the energy and power of JH & company's timeless blues.
A Real Goody.......2006-08-19
Years ago, Iwalked into a local club to listen to this band. Never heard them before. Afterwards. I thought they were as exciting as any blues band I'd ever heard. And that night, he'd only one guitarist with him. I immediately picked up this tape (in those days, it was either cassette or LP). Much to my pleasure, he had two great guitarists with him, plus a fine bass and drum section, probably the same ones that I'd heard before. This band was not only more exciting than the one I'd heard, but tighter as well. And then there were those excellent vocals and harmonica playing. Imagine my pleasure at seeing this out on CD, with extra cuts besides. I eagerly await even more, if possible.

A Mixed Bad.......2007-04-07
Blunt Object captures The Bad Plus in all their glory and disgrace. There are funny and strange versions of Blondie's Heart of Glass and Queen's We Are The Champions but nothing invites the listener into the private joke.
This is the absolute worst version of My Funny Valentine I've ever heard.

2 hours of music get the coffee ready !!! ITS TIME TO party.......2002-06-22
this much punk pop on two discs you cant go wrong at ALL.this is the first live album but either the descendents or ALL in nearly a decade.two things at once ALL over again.so first on disc one you have a great live performance of ALL.i bet when they played this show they were the openeing act but a solid opening act they must of been .these guys are as tight as a rock blasting threw some 22 songs .with no energy lost threw the entire thing.ALL the classics are played(shes my ex, skin deep, educated idiot) and a couple or rare tracks(bubble gum, cant say, birtday iou)these guys must keep the coffee going to play this great.
than up next is the descendents a band that already has two live albums.but they havent had one in some 13 years prior to this one.so this performace has some of the best songs ALso .with ALL the classics they have put one there other two live discs .but the only difference is that it up to the standards of todays modern sound production.which just blastes out of your speakers.lots of coffee lots of fun.
so to put it this is the best deal of the century for the price getting some almost two hours of pop power punk from the 2 best bands aroound also to give you something to do when you are hanging around the house feeling o so bored with the cd collection in front of you.So get a big bag of coffee a lot of food and break up with your girl friend its party time..
hmmm....good...........2001-10-19
Well, these are not Awesome cds, but they are good.
The sound quality is not the best.
Anyways, the songs selection is pretty good. If you want to hear good live stuff buy this.
Also I recomend Liveage, which I think is better than this cd.
Descendents / All ROCK.......2001-10-02
Another Live Album from the All / Descendents front. Contains some songs that apear on Trailblazer and no doubt the others too.
Live albums are always a bit of a gamble, what this album does for me is capture a moment in the life of one/two of the best PROPER punk bands around....Dont buy this if you want a studio quality album, although saying that it's not as bad as some bootlegs which some people will willingly pay more for. this will live in my autochanger for some time....Nice touch that the encore isn't included in the album time on player...the timer just stops counting while people scream for more. They enjoyed it and so shall you. Readingpunk UK.
Dissapointage.......2001-09-18
Being a faithful follower of the DescendentsALL saga I was excited for this live stuff. Not too mention the songs were picked by the fans. The song choices, for the ALL cd anway is so-so. The sound quality for both is worse. It doesn't mean I will stop loving both bands but I reccomend Liveage, Hallraker and Trailblazer for the true live experience.

OK CD, But These Guys Are Getting Old.......2004-09-14
I have nothing against this CD, and I listen to it sometimes. However, these guys are getting old. Kevin Cronin's voice is weakening and the playing overall lacks the energy of "You Get What You Play For." The live version of "Riding the Storm Out" on that album if far superior to this one. I recommend that album first, this one second.
Reo Speedwagon's best live album.......2004-08-16
Reo Speedwagon's Live Plus was recorded in June of 2000 in St.Louis,Missouri while they were touring with Styx.Reo Speedwagon's Live Plus contains 13 of their best known songs. The performances are great, most new groups couldn't hold their compaired to Reo.Don't Let Him Go opens the set, then we hear classics like Music Man,and Keep Pushing, about half the Hi Infidelity album,That ain't Love,Ridin' the Storm, as well as Bruce Hall's Back on the Road Again.Live Plus is one of the best live albums I have ever heard, the band sounds great.Kevin's voice isn't as strong as it used to be, but he is still a good vocalist, beaware that the Extended versions CD contains the part of this show, and Arch Allies with Styx Cd is from the same show as this, but Live Plus is the version of the Concert to get, this one has the most songs.
Up to date REO live!.......2002-10-23
Well it's about time that REO released an up to date live album. And what a good one this! It's just a pity they didn't pick one of their own shows (instead of co-headlining with Styx) the set would have been longer and would have featured 'the Acoustic set. The sound quality of the band just isn't up to previous years, and the drums sound a bit tacky, but it's a pure high energy rock concert captured on CD. The band stuck to their older more well known songs but every one's a crowd pleaser, even if Bruce does shout his way through Back on the Road. If you want to hear the best REO live, buy the Second Decade...1981 - 1991, the best versions of Don't Let Him GO, That Ain't Love and Can't Fight... are on that CD.
Whether you've got this CD or not, you must buy the video/DVD of the same title. Can't wait for the next REO album!
Quality could be better but........................2002-10-20
Kevin's voice is sounding more and more forced, almost like he's trying to hard. I can't believe he could've blown out his voice, but it just doesn't sound right. However, the music on this CD is good. If you're a true REO fan, I'd get it. Kevin's vocals are just so much a part of REO music though, so I can only give it 3 stars.
Great Recording, But I Miss Alan & Gary.......2002-10-01
Sorry, folks. While this is a good album, and the boys can still rock, I just don't get the same kick out of this band without Alan and Gary. I do wish they're record some the older stuff, too--even with the current lineup.
Chalk it up to old age, I guess.
(It's still worth adding to your collection, tho.)

Album Description
Two CD set. When the omnipotent Peter Green assembled his new band in the Summer of '67, he'd already decided to name them after his rhythm section - and former colleagues in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers - bassist John McVie and drummer Mick Fleetwood. But initially McVie was unwilling to make the switch, and so Bob Brunning joined FLEETWOOD MAC on a short-term/temporary basis, thus completing a quartet which, of course, also included minuscule singer/slide guitarist/pianist Jeremy Spencer. After just a handful of rehearsals the band debuted, to great critical acclaim, at the prestigious Windsor National Jazz & Blues Festival, on Sunday August 13th. A few nights later they played their first club gig, at the famous Marquee. Unknown to the band these gigs were recorded, by a couple of fans, albeit on primitive, hand-held mini-tape recorders. Fortuitously, these tapes survived; and although lo-fi recordings, of bootleg quality, these remain unique and powerful historical artifacts. Castle. 2007.

great cd.......2006-05-07
this is another great album from doria roberts. she is a very talented artist...after all...she did write one of the best lesbian love songs ever..."perfect" buy this album if youre a lesbian or a fan of doria roberts...you wont regret it.
One of the best finds out there.......2003-06-11
I just saw Doria in concert in D.C. this weekend ( June 15th). She sang three of the songs off this live cd. I immediately went down to her booth and bought her cd without listening to anything else. Just for the one song "perfect" was worth the money....however, I was not disappointed with the rest of the album. She has one of the freshest, and charming styles of singing and playing guitar that I've heard in quite awhile. There was not one track on the entire 2 cd set that I didn't like. A kind of 90's folk/rock Armatrading/Chapman mix only better.....all original work....from the heart...love songs, social statements, fun songs...all very melodic...great lyrics! Try it...I guarantee you'll love it. As an aside, she was also quite charming and friendly in person..one more reason to support such a wonderful artist.
intro to her great music.......2003-01-11
a great live CD, with mistakes, audience participation and a wonderful, gifted performer!!
