Smooth harmonies at their best.......2005-03-29

Shai was one of the best four part harmony groups to come out of the early nineties right behind Boyz II Men. After their triple plantium debut the felas decdided to record a live/remix album with some pretty good results. Baby I'm Yours, If I Ever Fall In Love, Together Forever all sound good live and show that these boys really can sing LIVE. While seductive grooves like Comforter, Sexual and up tempo tracks like Come Home To My Love still provide the goods.

the first time I heard any of these songs I was on a blind date (by the way who is now my husband of 9 years) and he sang to me while we danced, this is true love music and I will always treasure the words of both comforter and sexual. buy it if you dont have it and if you do use it, the words were true to life with me and these guys can say it and sing it like it is!

Squeeze the last of the juice out!.......2002-10-04

This is an OK album. It just seems to me they were just trying to squeeze more money out using stuff from the old album. Remixes, live performances and that's it. Buy it for your collection. There isn't much else that you will get out of it though... Rather get the next one. You gotta hand it to this boyz though, they can sing. I bought this in my high school days. It just brings back so many memories...

Dynasty - An Unheard Treasure.......2003-02-13

Folks, I grew up in California when this group was hot. As far as I'm concerned, they never got the "middle of the road" props that other R&B groups of the day (Kool & The Gang, Shalamar) received. Maybe it was because they were more funk, more R&B than most others, but their sound was definitely unique and deserved more recognition than they received. As the group came into this, their 4th album, their music was more diverse, their lyrics were tighter and their vocals unmatched. Play "That's The Way I Feel" and try to disagree. You won't be disappointed if you give it a try.

Comin' At 'Cha Live And Direct.......2002-02-14

The group's fourth effort has to be one of the most underrated and most brilliant music masterpieces ever created. On 'Right Back at 'Cha,' the group comes full blast with soaring funk jams "Strokin,'" "Check It Out," and the silky smooth "Does That Ring a Bell." The group most notably known for "throwdown" dance grooves, also offers essential and smooth ballads like the essential "Questions," and the devine "The Only Ones," a composition produced by then unknown powerhouse hitmakers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. As always, a listenable delight coming live and direct from Solar's prominent first and last line of rulers.
