I basicly purchased this CD for one song (I've Just Begun To Love You). I found a couple of other tunes that struck my memory chords and that's a good thing. If you love 80's music, I recommend this for the serious music lover!!

I have been looking to get any Dynasty songs on CD for ever! I had no problem getting the whispers, shalimar and even lakeside stuff on CD but Dynasty was tough. "Do me right baby" and "I've Just Begun To Love You" were 2 of my all time favorite roller skating tunes. I can now play all the Solar records hits on my iPod and have severe late 70s early 80s flash backs. . . . .now where did I put those roller skates?. . . . .notice Roller SKATES. . . . .non of the Roller Blade stuff for this guy!

Ya know? I always got them confused with Shalamar.....but not anymore...With hits like "Do me right"...and "Here I am"....I am catapulted right back to the 80's teenage basement parties of my youth with the required Boones Farm Apple Wine....and funk 'fo ya a**!

Anyone who can relate must pick this CD up!

If you like a heavy funky Bass, a lighting lead guitar and fantastic vocals--This group is the best from the 1980 west coast funk genre !

when you hear the Funky Grooves here it will take you back to a time when a Jam could get you through a whole Summer.this Band never got Big in terms of Sales&whatnot but they always seem to Have a Jam that you couldn't stop Bopping to.this is a Bumping Set that for the Summer time the Grooves never let up.

During their reign at Solar alongside popular acts The Whispers, Shalamar, and Lakeside, just to name a few, Los Angeles based band Dynasty quickly captivated audiences with jams "I Don't Wanna Be A Freak," "Do Me Right," "Here I Am," "Love in the Fast Lane," and the most memorable, if not the group's signature hit, the funky "I've Just Begun to Love You." This CD helps to identify people who really lived through the Old School days! Dynasty, while never a huge hit on the charts, were certainly popular among the then party-goers. This CD compiles their most notable and infectious tracks - Here I Am, Love in the Fast Lane, Do Me Right, I've Just Begun to Love You and I Don't Want to be a Freak. A really good listening experience.
