Very happy with it but wished for more.......2006-10-07

I bought this CD only because it included the 1990 Club Mix of "Bad of The Heart", which, as far as i know, was never available on CD before (or if it was, I never saw it anywhere)

The inclusion of the Hot Radio mix of "Where does that leave love" would also be a treat for fans, although it happens I already the CD single of that song so I already had that.

What I dont understand is why SONY/BMG only put two remixes on this collection?? There are remixes of "Look Into My Eyes" and "Without You" as well as some other singles from his second album, which a lot of people would really like to get their hands on. George LaMond - as with many popular dance artists - has a back catalogue of rare remixes that Sony could capitalize on if they wanted to, and it would give the fans more of a reason to buy these budget releases.

Sony was smart in the way they put together the "Dance Diva: Remixes & Rarities" CDs for Taylor Dayne and Cyndi Lauper, as well as the "Dance Mixes" collection for Expose'.

George Lamond is an artist who deserves to have a similar release.

If Sony/BMG really wants to cash in on remix re-releases, they should also put out budget remix & rarities collections for Gloria Estefan, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Lissette Melendez, Ace Of Base, Real McCoy, Snap!, Black Box, Basia, Celine Dion, The Cover Girls, Lisa Stansfield, to name a few of the ones that would really fly of store shelves.
