THIS CD IS OK. I WASNT REALLY FEALING IT. BUT HOWEVER. IT IS SOMETHING THAT I WOULD PLAY WHILE IM CLEANING MY HOUSE. FERTILE GROUND IS WAY BETTER THAN THIS GROUP. THE VIEWER THAT COMPARED THEM TO FERTILE GROUND IS WAY OFF. I DONT KNOW WHO THIS PERSON IS TRYING TO SELL THIS CD FOR 34 DOLLARS. BUT THEY ARE CRAZY. DONT PAY ALL THAT MONEY FOR THIS CD. I DONT CARE HOW GOOD IT IS. IT'S NOT WORTH THAT MUCH.

This is absolutely incredible! Where is this guy and why isn't he getting any airplay???? Every cut on the CD is moving, and Chandler delivers each performance with stellar quality. A friend of mine bought this CD on the internet and recommended it to me. Now I play it at barbecues and gatherings, and people always want to know who it is and where they can get it. Remember the days when you could buy an album and listen to it from beginning to end, enjoying every song and how the album built a feeling in you? This is that kind of CD!

I can only hope that this album gets the recognition that it really deserves. I haven't heard soul music as good as this for a very long time. The lyrics are uplifting, spiritual and positive whilst the music is second to none. If you like Fertile Ground you will definitely appreciate this although it is in a different vein. The overall feel to the album is soul/jazz and it is certainly swinging. Most soul of today I wouldn't buy let alone put on my walkman while travelling to work. In fact I found it very hard to take it out of my walkman for days.

To quote Dusty Groove "a fantastic soul musician with equal talents in many quarters". The keyboards appear on virtually every track and it gives the music an overall quality that is unfortunately missing on so much soul today. There are 70's funk as well as 80's groove feels on the album. An essential buy.

There are so many tracks to listen to all I can say is if you are a music connoisseur then this CLASSIC will be up your street.

Great CD. I would put him in the midst of this whole NEO Soul vibe, but his delivery, artistry, and production is so different yet refreshing. FAVS: So Far,So Good, Art Of Dreaming, Fearless, Guilding the Lilly, When Ya Lovin me....F#$k it....the album is great beginning to end. Great vocals, spoken word, jazz influences, awesome lyrical content. This album is in rotation between Eric Roberson, Meshell O'Cello (Cookie) and some other priceless stuff. Buy it...you won't regret it.
