The best thunderstorm CD I've heard.......2006-12-21

I've bought a few different thunderstorm/rain CDs. This is by far the best I've heard. It starts off with a loud boom but then settles into low rumbling, then rain with the occasional distant thunder.
It's a great CD to fall asleep to. The best part - no music!

I love falling asleep to track number 1. Sounds just like a thunderstorm. The flow of rain comes and goes and sounds so beautiful. The thunder sounds real. I love it. It does have some loud thunder. But the second one doesn't. This one is a real storm sound. Rain is louder in this one also. But I think the loud thunder and rain can be more relaxing covering other noises.

Track 2 is more quiet and starts with a little bit of bird chirpping(no more than 5-6 minutes until the rain starts and birds stop) And it is an even steady flow of rain with a little quiet thunder in the back. And just as peaceful as the first track. Very relaxing.

I can close my eyes and really think it is storming. I can't choose between them.

This c/d is great, but it does have one flaw, the first strike of thunder can be unsettling. On the great side the rain sounds so realistic, and the best part is it has no background MUSIC! It is so hard to find a good storm c/d with no music, so buy this and enjoy over and over again. I play it everynight on repeat, and now I don't even flinch with the clap of thunder. It is great at drowning out other noises in the house and you awake so refreshed.

Uneven.......2001-03-06

This cd begins with a boom of thunder -- not bad -- but the sounds continue to fade away until the cd repeats...again with the boom of thunder, which ruins any relaxation you may have begun. The rain sounds like someone is pouring a pitcher of water on the sidewalk. Save your money.

This cd is relaxing........2000-04-16

This cd is worth buying, it is great to listen to before you go to sleep. That's why i gave it a good review. I hate it when people say good things about a product and only give it one or two stars. That's just confusing. buy this cd.
