5 out of 5 stars the best tear album.......2006-06-01

this is by far the best album going past all the occidental eccentricities of the last few and extending into a realm of cartoonish ant- person views looking upwards at lightening shards of grass from the soil below in your backyard. best tear garden album ever. this is experimental but not annoyingly alienation. it doesn't come off as though the dots just took your money and laiguhedazz

4 out of 5 stars It grows on you..........2000-09-12

The first few times I heard this album, I lamented the loss of the money I spent on it... A year later, I came back to it. This time I was amazed by it, especially the Title track, and left wondering why I disliked it in the first place.

Granted, this EP isnt quite as good as the other Tear Garden releases, but there are several gems in here that make it well worth the cost. Give the CD some time, and it will grow on you...

3 out of 5 stars Start out with "Tired Eyes Slowly Burning.".......1998-06-28

This is the third release from The Tear Garden, moving into a more experimental direction. This shouldn't be the first Tear Garden release you buy, but, rather, the last, in my opinion. Start from the beginning with "Tired Eyes Slowly Burning," and once you've gotten all other releases (in order :), then move on to this one. It starts out with "Blobbo," which is a really happy danceable song with inaudible lyrics that make me think of bubbles. The second track, "Sybil the Spider Consumes Himself," while good, is quite experimental for The Tear Garden. Very slow as well. The third song on this EP, however, is a must have for any Tear Garden fan -- the best track of the CD, by far. The music is almost that of Skinny Puppy's "Nature's Revenge," but combined with Ka-Spel's vox, it's great example of Tear Garden. The fifth and sixth tracks, "Do It Yourself From A-Z Parts 1-2," are another reason this CD is a must-have. But most of the rest of the EP is experimental noise, with a little bit of wailing or vox mixed in. Overall, not their best, but still, some of the songs are well-worth the money.

3 out of 5 stars Industrial Noise........2006-02-13

This album is a rather messy barrage of Industrial/Creepy noise from Edward Ka-Spel and Cevin Key. Quite a wild ride in atmosphere, this album can be difficult, but is an interesting listen.
