"...a vocalist with amazing range and expressiveness, a voice that radiates beauty and sweetness as it soars high and far..."

Product Description
Circus Sanctuary, the dynamic saga-esque solo album of singer Christina Linhardt, musically chronicles tales of her eclectic life bouncing from continent to continent, including stories of her magical, yet torrid affair with the Crown Prince of Saxony, her life as a Carnivale entertainer in the Fooles Guild, her travels through African jungles, and time spent training to become a professional fighter (which she never did; music won out).

Utilizing an array of musical styles from salsa to reggae to grandiose rock-ballad, Circus Sanctuary covers the gamut of genres, yet is tied together by the unique rock aria style arrangements, and the rhythmic "glue" of world percussionist Angel Luis Figueroa.

The core band in recording the album consisted of acclaimed and renowned studio players Dino Meneghin, guitar, Marco Meneghin, drums, Bob Feldman, bass, and John Rangel, keyboards. Sparkling special guest spots include salsa violinist Dan Weinstein, legendary pianist Shelton Berg, sax solos by Bruce Eskovitz, and a cameo piccolo trumpet cadenza by Bill Churchville.

Skillfully produced and arranged by Bruce Eskovitz and Christina Linhardt, and masterfully engineered by Glenn Nishida (Pacifica Studios), Circus Sanctuary is a must have for lovers of inventive music, created by artists not industries.

Album Description

Hannicap Circus is the first solo release from Bizarre, the most high profile (and definitely weirdest) member of Eminem's band D12. The album title comes from Bizarre considering himself a "special" artist.

Hannicap Circus finds Bizarre stepping out from the motley crew safety net of D12 members Eminem, Kon Artis, Swift, Kuniva and Proof. And according to the hip-hop wildman, it's about damn time. His public fistfights for control over the Dirty Dozen against "leader" Marshall Mathers have become legendary in music industry circles ("Marshall was just asking to be punched out," riffs Bizarre.) The ongoing rivalry picks up from where D12's 2004 hit "My Band" left off on his first single "Rock Star." On the fast-paced Slim Shady produced track, Bizarre proclaims his dominance as an artist who has exceeded the likes of Elvis, The Osmonds, and Kiss combined. Who could argue? "I'm the man, the lead singer of the band, on stage for thousands of fans/I used to be a dancer for Hammer, if you look you can see me in the camera," Bizarre flips in his trademark husky flow.

On "Bad Day," an hilarious reworking of Ice Cube's 1992 West Coast classic "It Was A Good Day," Bizarre is backed by hip-hop producing legend Erick Sermon and unleashes a witty dose of off-centered story-telling. "I gotta go because I got on flip-flops, if I slow down then my feet will drop/Had to stop at the red light, everybody laughing at my yellow dirt bike," says the dejected rapper. The brazen "Gospel Weed" (producer TK) proves that nothing is sacred in the warped mind of Bizarre. And the x-rated R&B fueled "Porno Bitches," produced by D12's Mr. Porter and featuring fellow comedic rhymer Devin tha Dude and Outkast's own Big Boi, finds the deranged emcee claiming, "I love porn, but niggas be hating/R. Kelly ain't got nothing on the shit I be making."

"A lot of the shit on Hannicap Circus was made for weed smokers," Bizarre freely admits. "But when I'm not rapping, I'm in Atlanta or Michigan fishing with my homeboys. I try to stay as normal as possible to keep myself grounded around my family. When D12 goes on tour it's so wild. I like to go home and take the trash out to remind myself who I am."

4 out of 5 stars Bizarre's Debut Album .......2007-03-01

Hanni Cap Circus is Bizarre's first solo album. It's pretty good. The best songs are Gospel Weed Song, **** Your Life, I'm In Luv Witchu, Porno..., Bad Day, I Need A Friend, and One Chance.

4 out of 5 stars R Restricted.......2006-07-11

This is a solo album by D12's Bizarre and a most own if you like D12. My copy of this came with an R Restricted sticker and all the purverted and offensive lyrics certainly earned it. However this is not a bad album with great beats and a single "Rockstar" produced by Eminem. Bizarre is my second favourite D12 memeber my first being Eminem. This is a comedic album with funny adults only material. My favourite song would have to be I'm So Cool but the other songs I like are Intro, Gospel Weed Song, F*** Your Life, Let The Record Skip, Ghetto Music, Hip Hop, Rockstar, Doctor Doctor and some others that I can't think of right now. Skits are usually just stupid but I enjoy most of the skits on this.

This is some good hip hop for ya if you like an other D12 album you won't be dissapointed with this.

4 out of 5 stars Bizarre, Bizarre, Bizarre.......2006-07-08

This cd will definitely not appeal to everybody. If you are a true D12 fan you will like this. If you like the rap that is pretty good, but makes you laugh you will love this. He has artists featured in half of the songs, which gives some relief from his jokes. There is 3 more tracks on the cd, but here is the review for the 17 listed on the page.

1. intro- not great, but not horrible 3/5
2. rockstar- This is a great song, especially the chorus 4.5/5
3. F*ck Your Life- This is a nice song his wife is the lead singer of the rock group sindee syringe, who is featured in this song. This song is really different from the rest of his music. still good. 3.5/5
4. Hip Hop- This is a catchy song, but it can get old after listening to it for a while 4/5
5. Porno B*tches- This is a funny song, but still has a pretty nice hook. Still a good song, despite its theme. 4/5
6. Bad Day- This is te best song on the cd. It is a spoof off of Ice Cube's song "It was a Good Day". Really catchy and offensive to gays. 5/5
7.Gospel Weed Song- This is an ok song about him thanking jesus for living and of course being able to get high. 3/5
8. Im so Cool- The refrain is crazy good. It gets stuck in my head all the time, and im glad it does. 5/5
9. Ghetto Music- This song is good, it is pretty much all about him doing different types of drugs, featured artsis fit perfectly into this song. 3.5/5
10. crush on you- This isnt a great song by any means but it is still an aaight song to listen to. 2.5/5
11. im so into you- This song is also known as im in luv witchu, which is a good song about what he likes about girls and what e will do to them. Haha. 4/5
12. coming home- This is a serious song about him telling is family that he misses them when he goes on the road and wishes he could be with them. 4.5/5
13. one chance- It gives a good message that when you get your chance to be successful you ave to take advantage of it and not back down. 4/5
14. record skip- Maybe the weakest track on the album same old "My Dj's in a coma for lettin the record skip". 2/5
15. i need a friend- This is a funny song. Whoo 3.5/5
16. nuthin at all- This is pretty much a D12 song that was thrown on to the album. Doesnt really flow with the rest of the album but you have to respect this song. 3/5
17. Doctor Doctor- Whenever i feel sick i think of this song and its stuck in my head. I love this song. This could beat Bad Day once in a while, but of course its gonna be good with Obie Trice bein featured. 5/5

2 out of 5 stars Wack album.......2006-07-01

If you got like 20 tracks and 18 features. That means you CANNOT hold your own weight. Which means you are wack. And bizarre has always been wack. His slow a** flow is wack. His mic presence is wack. His subject matter is wack. This album is wack. The only thing goin for this soon to be coaster is the beats. And mostly all these beats are wasted. And what is Erick sermon doin'. He shoulda kept that beat for his camp. Beats like that you give to rappers who can actually spit bars.

2 out of 5 stars not good.......2006-06-22

bizarre is a joke as an mc..the only thing that makes the album good is the beats and guest appearances. other than that it's still the same weak lyrics
