About the Artist
In 1989, Robert Cory travelled to Sedona, Arizona with his equipment and opened the first public recording studio. At first, he was just a sound engineer, but over time he began to get involved with production and performing on the records, taking artists' songs from "demo to master" with complete arrangements designed with computers and synths. It was in Sedona, where Robert Cory met Chris Spheeris who became a mentor, brother and musical companion on a variety of projects. Cory continues to live in Sedona Arizona with his wife and daughter and looks forward to the future of creating more music for albums and soundtracks. He is now working with TV channel 18, The Sedona Now Network, mixing and creating musical scores.

Top Notch.......2006-11-25
Allele = Top Notch nu-metal/hard rock.
Easily one of the best rock records this year along side Breaking Benjamin and Flyleaf.
Worth 10 bucks. BUY!
This is how the new COLD album should have been!.......2006-09-13
If you like cold,Than dont buy the new cold cd buy this one.Thats all i have to say.Great Cd
Awesome, Awesome Debut.......2006-08-08
Many people have been hating on this band, and i cant understand why. First of all. their label, Corprorate Punishment, has a habit of signing VERY talented new bands, and Allele also has in it's ranks ex-members of Cold and Otep, talented musicians once again.
Musically, the band is like any other hard rock band out their, but in this day and age where most bands anger is fake or manufactured, you can actually feel the rage in this singer's voice, and tell that it's for real. Like Five.Bolt.Main, thy lyrics for a lot of the songs, especially "A Different Someone" helped me through a really hard time in my life. So, stop hating on bands that you dont understand, and go back to listening to the pop-emo-flavor of the week bands your all so into these days, and leave the truly talented bands alone.
Great debut.......2006-07-20
I saw and met these guys at the whiskey in hollywood when they were on the verge of scoring their record deal with corporatepunishment and they gave a kickass show. Not to mention they were a great group of guys to talk to which is why i wasnt surprised when i saw their album shortly after at best buy. The album is really good. Wallys vocals are right on(im surprised he hasnt gotten more attention) as well as the guitar riffs which was expected. I think a little more originality could have made it a little better but its a great debut nonetheless. I especially liked the ballad immune(Forgive me if i got the song title wrong). I was blown away by the overall depth and melody of the vocals. It seemed more like a song which you would hear on the 2nd or 3rd album which i'm shure they'll exceed. If you ever get the chance to see these guys live do it. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by their live talent and energy. One more thing, try and find their song us oblivious on the net if you havent heard it yet. It was pre kelly hayes but is extremely good. It was on their demo cd but im surprised it didnt make it to the album. I gave the album 4 stars only cause i think they have more potential.
Lots Of Talent + Lack Of Originality = Allele.......2006-05-18
A lot of people discovering Allele probably did so through ex-Cold guitarist Kelly Hayes, who is one of five talents in Allele (along with ex-Otep guitarist Lane Maverick). I'll admit, that's how I found them, and I was expecting something special from Allele. Well, did I get what I expected? Yes and no. See, Allele obviously have the talent to get things done. "Point Of Origin" is a well accomplished and appealing album. But do they deliver something you can't get anywhere else? Well...
If I could describe their sound, I would place it somewhere between Taproot and Breaking Benjamin. Or, I could just descirbe it as what it sounds like: another nu-metal band. Now, that's not so bad. I'm not ashamed of nu-metal, and Allele do the sound justice. But my main problem is that there just isn't much variety with their debut when it is clear that these guys are capable of much more. Frontman Wally Wood's vocals and lyrics are top-notch. The guy has a strong voice with lyrics that are extremely catchy and relateable. In all honesty, Allele have struck gold, but they need to branch out a bit. Every song is strong, but then again, every song sounds similar to the one before it.
I have to say once again that Allele are a great band, but their debut is just a poor representation. I am confident that when they make their next album, it will be something to talk about. "Point Of Origin" is definitely worth checking into, not just for the Cold fan, but also for anyone who enjoys nu-metal that is simply good. As for Allele, better luck next time.

Album Description
The birth of There for Tomorrow into the music scene has produced their debut album, Point of Origin. The album is filled with visceral lyrics, heavy guitar duos and fast paced rhythms. Point of Origin is full of kinetic energy and will keep your heart racing and your head banging. The guitars battle and balance each other for a melodic and aggressive sound all at once. Everything on the album is strong, heavy, and overstated.

This CD is terrific! My kids had to have it the day it came out. Once their friends heard it they had to order it as well! This group is one of the best out there and will be around for a long time. They really have a way of making each song different while maintaining consistency. Definitely worth buying and listening to again and again!

Rising star!.......2004-07-16
I've followed this artist's music for a few years. A true composer, Robert Cory's album Point of Origin reflects his brilliance and creativity.
The music is gentle and serene yet powerful. Each track delivers a fascinating dimension to the album as a whole. Robert Cory is a master at his art and his passion shows here. The entire album is amazing but I am consistantly moved by Escape, Fissure and Dance Of The Flame.
Point of Origin is a new horizon and a window into another world. Go on the journey. Enjoy it. And take note of this rising star!
