Meditative Masterpiece!.......2007-06-09

Looking for great meditation music? Listen to Liquid Mind's assortment of musical meditation arrangements! I purchased Liquid Mind III years ago it's music became almost sacred to myself and other family members and friends. So, I purchased the entire series! Need I say more?!!!!
The music has a great "trademark" sound but each CD has it's own uniqueness. I found it was great anytime you need "background" music. I loved each and every CD by Liquid Mind and will treasure the music always. Thanks to Chuck Wild and all involved in the production of Liquid Mind!

It's a little slow and boring for my taste, but it provides for constant airy sound. Typical spa music.

Close your eyes, your mind, and melt away on the soft liquid sounds of this calming energy. Exactly what I was looking for.......2007-01-17

I always tried to relax by listening to classical music. Some classical is relaxing, but it can change tempo and volume often which I find distracting. This is much more calming then anything I've ever found. We have two of these cd's -- Reflection and Unity. I use it in the kitchen, or while I'm reading at bedtime. My 10-year-old listens to one at bedtime to help him calm down. I really love these cd's.

A perfect CD for Massage.......2006-04-14

As a massage therapist, it is really tough to find appropriate music for a session. This CD hits the mark. No singing, chanting, or other distracting bird calls. Just pure melodious tunes that flow from one song to the other. My clients love this CD and you will too.

Slow World by Liquid Mind.......2007-05-13

This is an excellent music CD for deep relaxation, massage, acupuncture treatments, yoga, meditation, or getting the baby to sleep. It maintains a consistent "zoney" quality from beginning to end with no tempo change, no surprises. The instrument is a synthesized keyboard and the chord progressions take long gradual steps up and down. That's it.

A follow up to Liquid Mind #1; Ambience Minimus (which is a wonderful CD). Slow World follows the same tonal layered formula of #1, but is benign and energyless. It's linear evolution is similar, but it's field of space is shallow. Leaving the listener bored. I agree with "spotlight reviewer" Mr. King. It will put you to sleep. But thats not what good ambient music is intended for. The intent of a good slow book is not to put you to sleep, but rather to give you something to dwell upon. Ambient music also gives you a field allowing your consciousness to wander.

Decompression for everyone.......2006-03-03

This is a very helpful CD for those of us prone to stress, and those who aren't. The only drawback is I wish it were longer.

Great for Massage.......2005-11-03

I have many many CD's which I play while I do massage. I have never had so many people comment on a particular CD as I have this one. It's very calming, and seems to put people more deeply into a relaxed state. There is far less talking by my more talkative clients when this CD plays.

Liquid mind albums are just what you are looking for if you need a cd for sleep, meditation, or napping. This album is difficult to stay awake to. Synth sounds glide in and out like clouds; you can't focus on one too long as it will pass by and you will find another sound-cloud to float on. No rhythm, no melody, no beat; there is enough change to keep you from being able to predict what is going to happen next but not so much that you stay alert. Very good for this purpose.

This is one incredible compact disc. It is so good, I can't wait to get home, hop in bed and throw the headphones on. The synthesizers are soooo soothing, they put me in a state of cosmic euphoria. I feel the stress of the day, just being pulled out of my body, and a soothing clam that follows. It is one of 3 that I have purchased which provide the same sense of tranquility that I require at the end of the day. If your daily life is filled with stress, (and who's isn't). This CD is highly recommended.....

Numb Resemblance.......2006-11-30

Balance is a mirror of Chuck Wild's first project (Ambience Minimus) 3 years earlier. Unfortunately there is no forward progress in the Liquid Mind series. There is more warmth than it's predacesor "Slow World", but that ethereal "Ambience Minimus" tone is lacking. Here the tone tends to be outlaid rather than uprisen. Yes it dose maintain that flowing monochromatic state and it's planes dissolve well with some interesting soundshifting. But that is not enough to make this project appealing.

Liquid Mind III: Balance.......2006-08-20

I use this product for massage background music. All Liquid mind CD work well. After purchasing the entire series, I realized you really only need 1 or 2 of this style.

A superb work.......2005-05-14

In my opinion, this is Liquid Mind's best work. If you haven't listened to this type of music before it is quite different. There is no beat, no melody, but drifting synthesizers that rise and dance on a theme of inspiration and grace. If you're looking for Yanni type New Age music you won't like this. If you're looking for something that plays well in the background as you do your work or meditate, this just might be the cd for you. One of my favorites.

I gave it to my father who leads a meditation healing group at his church. They play this cd during their session and people really find it promotes an atmosphere of quiet positivity.

Very Soothing ..........2006-03-07

A very soothing album. Perfect for reflection, meditation and Shiastu of course. Llewellyn is a talented musician and has put out many soothing albums. All the tracks on the album are nice, but then there are some that are stunning:

8. Prophecy: The best track on the entire album. It is not as a complex composition, but then composing a simple stuff is equally complex. The physiological affect of the track on the listener is almost immediate, you'll be immersed in a sea of tranquility and every thought crossing your mind will be beautiful.
9. The Dreamweavers: This track with Juliana's hypnotic chants will tap into your subconscious. I generally play an online radio station before going to bed. One night, I was woken from my deep sleep by some enchanting music that seemed liked a dreamscape. It was in fact this beautiful track that was enchanting the subconscious. I got up, checked the album playing and ordered it the following morning.

Relaxing.......2006-02-19

I use this CD in my alarm clock to wake up in the morning. It's great, because it's soothing and not loud like the radio or a buzzer alarm.

Great Massage CD.......2006-01-03

I loved this CD! I think one of my clients stole it because it is such an amazing CD...so I am buying it again. It has a variety of songs which make it an awesome compliation. It is great to work to because it is not boring or meditative, but still extremely relaxing. It is a must have for a massage therapist's music collection.

P.S. I walked down the Isle to Dreamweavers on the top of a mountain. Play it loud...it sounds like angles comming down from heaven.

Incredibly Relaxing.......2005-02-02

I bought this without hearing it first -- am glad I did. I play it when I get shiatsu treatments. I find it extraordinarily relaxing. Of course, you can play it at other times as well. I heartedly recommend it -- excellent for meditation as well, or just for quiet listening. I like to play such music when I'm reading spiritual books (e.g. Dzogchen).

An Expansion of the Heart.......2003-11-14

I first purchased this CD at a local new-age bookstore. I did not listen to it before pursnasing, but I was looking for something to use with m patients in relaxation sessions. So I took a chance and have been rewarded ever since.

I play this CD almost every day - with my clients, when meditationg, when writing as I go into my "think tank". My clients find the music relaxing, interesting and inspirational. They request it when given a choice of music during sessions.

I used the track #4 "Forbidden Love" as a background for a Heart Meditation that I read and use often. I feel a great expansion of light from that exercise.

This was the first of Llewellyn's music in my collection. I then purchased the Reiki CD and enjoy that one also. He is now on my favourite list. Keep up the good work.

This Goddess T. project sounds a lot like Mother Gong.And so it should,because it's core line-up is Gilli Smyth,Daevid Allen and their son Orlando Allen.If you're a Gong fan,you should get plenty enjoyable plays from 'Electric Shiatsu' as I have.Some of the outstanding tracks would be "Sugar Path","Triple Helix",the nicely done poetic "Sirius Ma" and the twenty-minute quite spacey "Journey Of The White Whale".Truly incredible!Through out the eight song/68:10 minute disc,I'm SURE I hear sitar,tabla and pure electronic-style trancedelic that's probably a bit to 'out there' and eerie for some.Like I said before,if you like Gong,or EVEN any Gong-related releases,you will dig this CD.Not a bad cover either.

Deep Trance and Whaley.......1999-12-23

Gosh, I really didn't know what to expect when I plopped it in the drawer. What a surprise, it's Zero th....no, it is Gilli with Orlando and Daevid and others. Took me a while to get into it, but it is very attention getting. Deep organic, trancey, ambient, spacey grooves, music to dance to, walk to, think to, veg out to. I think I am still absorbing it months down the road :-) Of course, if you are a php you should own this one and support the Gong family :-)

Goddess trance.......1999-08-04

Goddess T band originated from playing dance parties in the North East coast the rainbow region of Australia.Electric Shiatzu mingles many rhythyms from the "sound that created everything" with requencies and resonances ranging from sublime to subliminal that touch the emotions like pressure points.
