Angels in the myst is Sheryl's 2nd production. This production contains the introductory purple flowers, a reflective song. It allows you to stop and reflect on the simplicity and the beauty of violet, purple flowers blowing in the the wind. Its phrases are short, decisive and uncluttered, taking you to a momentary place of peace. This CD blends Sheryl's beautiful sounds into being so that spirit can relax and reflect. The beautiful Visage will take you back to a time, possibly medieval times when romantic knights did joust, wearing the colors of a maiden. Danny Boy, a well known Irish melody, was honed by Sheryl and includes Irish lyrics translated from English by Sheryl. It is sung in a tranditional manner and reflects her somewhat conservative demeanor in performing these types of melodies.

Seoithin seo is a soulful Irish melody which raptures the spirit with a multilayered vocal, and Gentle Maiden is a beautiful Irish Melody played on her handmade harp. It is a bright little melody that will set your heart alight. If you like a little bit of mellow jazz, try Rainbow. Angels in the Myst is an album to experience, not just listen. It is a cultural experience of blends, genres and melodies all rolled into one album. Sheryl has added the violin in Kildare Moon and the electric cello in Luna Lament and continues to strive for a rapport between the listener and the sound nuances she creates.

    Sheryl's second CD capitalizes on her first recording's New Age formula. The CD (recorded in 2000) has a better recording quality and is much better than her last effort. I personally liked her rendition of "Danny Boy" and the track "Visage" which was a soothing and gentle ride into her aesthetic mood. Once again, everything on this album is done exclusively by the artist, a rather incredible feat with all the production needed. "Angels" is another unique experience that will satisfy all fans of New Age and Gaelic music.

    This album is musical alchemy. Sheryl's Virgo vocals in English and Irish Gaeilge touches heart and soul. Her instruments are violin, electric cello, and her own handmade walnut harp.
    All productions, mixing, lyrics, and music (except traditional words) are by Sheryl.
    For a multifaceted listening adventure, this reviewer recommends listening to the angelic reality of her songs coming directly from her heart. Sheryl reveals the music was born out of severe personal challenges, and obviously from this adversity emerged a great talent. Sheryl's vocal presentation of Danny Boy in English and then in Irish, is unsurpassed.
    This reviewer was especially moved and motivated by her honestly sensual, "If You Think You Do."
