About the Artist
Kate Moody studied piano performance at Sonoma State University before going on to graduate studies in composition at the New England Conservatory. Kate continues to be actively involved in music education as a teacher of piano, composition and general music studies at her Agate Pass Music Studio. The recording of Kate's full length symphony, The Seeker, is now available from CoCo Lounge Presents. The symphony is in four movements: Wake-up Call, River of Love, Angels & Eskimos, and Shining Through. Stewart Kershaw, conductor, calls it,"the marriage of Classical and New Age... music that will warm the human spirit." Kate will be touring in 2002 to promote this CD along with her new recording of choice piano solos, Welcome to Piania. Kate's music is available in print from Voice of the Rockies.
