Product Description
Welcome to the Canadian Rockies. Come along on a 3-dimensional journey through one of nature's greatest spectacles. Awaken to the stillness of a gentle sunrise...the whispering trees beside Alpine meadow...a gentle stream as it meanders beside the trail...the magnificent elk bugling across Bow Valley...the sudden peal o distant thunder...and the solemn grandeur of Lake Louise. We've spent hundreds of hours exploring and recording throughout Canadian Rockies in order to capture the natural soundscape that is unique to this amazing wilderness. By weaving these, and many other natural sounds together with music inspired by our journey, we have created a "Symphony with Nature"

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars great music.......2006-08-16

I bought this CD on a vacation to Canada in June 2001. This CD seems to take the course of two "days". It starts the first morning with "Kootenay Sunrise" and ends the day with "Whistler's Twilight". It begins the second morning with "Summer Rain" and ends the program with "Trail's End".

I liked this CD very much, although I personally think that "Going to the Sun" (made by the same company) was better.

5 out of 5 stars Soothing, relaxing.......2005-10-20

I got this album about 9 years back during my honeymoon trip to the Canadian Rockies. Thought I was just buying it as a memento initially, it became one of my favourite music album. When I play the music with my surround sound system, just by closing my eyes, I felt emersed, like in the forrest of the rocky mountains, with the sound of running water and insects in the background. it's the only album that can bring total relaxness to me.

If you like Kevin Kern's music, you should like this.
