Unusual relaxation for a Lakeside Girl!.......2003-05-15
I have long listened to the moods of Lake Erie; from the passionate, raging storms that remind us Lieutenant Dan of "Forrest Gump" Raging at the elements, to the peaceful sunsets and mystical green flash at the sun's very last touch leaves the night sky. Loving this area as I do, I was quite surprised to find that the "Desert Winds" also has it's moods, emotions evoked, memories that may or may not be mine, but stories none-the-less. I highly recommend the "Relax With ..." series. Whether to help you treat anxiety, to pamper yourself, or some one you love, with pleasing sounds that block out the rest of the world, while taking you to a world of sense-memory or of your own creation. This is where you create the (to quote the Calgon Ad: "Calgon, Take Me Away!") place of peace within yourself, and having been refreshed your mind and spirit and body, gives you more strength to go back to your regularly scheduled life with a fresh appreciation for all that you have, and a little more enthusiasm for it all.

The word "relax" does not belong on this CD. The sound of a rattlesnake hissing and shaking its tail is not my idea of peace and RELAXing. Good for keeping rodents away maybe. The wind was ok but did not leave it on long enough to really hear it that well. If you like the sounds of dangerous reptiles lurking about while you rest then get this CD. Good thing scorpions don't make noise. They would have put them on here too.

If you are considering this CD for white noise, please consider once of the many CDs with flowing water, ocean waves, or thunderstorms. The winds in this CD shriek and sound a little scary. I will use it as background sounds when kids come to my house on Halloween.
