Editorial Reviews
From the Artist
"The night sky is something to behold in Western South Dakota and whenever the moon begins to peer over the horizon it always takes my breath away. Each of those experiences has never failed to capture my heart and my imagination. It is that intersection of time when it seems that the wondrous mysteries of life are revealed and music fills my heart and being. I feel that Henry David Thoreau said it best… "When I hear music, I fear no danger. I am invulnerable. I see no foe. I am related to the earliest times, and to the latest.

As you listen to this record I hope that you are reminded of this wonderful place that I come to call home. Here in Western South Dakota there is so much to see and experience. Celebrate with me the gift of life as we live Beneath a Prairie Moon" says Ken.

Beneath A Prairie Moon is an awesome release by singer/songwriter Ken Verheecke. I have several of his CD's and I think this one is one of his best! I love to listen to this instrumental CD while I work. It's never a distraction but sounds so smooth!

Ken Verheecke has a heart of Gold and is sold out to God, not only does it shine this his attiude but also his music. I had the pleasure or meeting Ken last month when he came down to Oklahoma for a few concerts. After a concert in Sand Springs he handed me "Beneath a Praire Moon". I took it home and listend to it and its defaintly a must have! You don't want this CD missing from your KV collection :)

5 out of 5 stars A solid album by a great musician........2003-06-17

I only have two words to describe this album: great stuff. Ken Verheecke does a phenominal job of painting musical pictures on "Beneath A Prarie Moon." Combining ambient loops, amazing acoustic and blazing electric guitars, there is a wide range of style showing Ken's versitility. One finds themselves being sucked in to the awe and beauty of the South Dakota area; they should include this album in their tourism packages!
All in all, I would say this is a must have. Also, check out Ken's other albums. "Taken By The Wind" is one of my personal favorites. You won't be disappointed by anything that he has to offer.

5 out of 5 stars Beautifully simple yet elegant.......2002-07-18
